This is my first post here, even been around for a couple years. I'm here to ask for help to decide which Canon camera body deserves my investment. I'm a amateur photographer seen the things getting a bit serious. I'm starting to make some money with photography, mostly working as second photographer for a pro. In this cases, I use Nikon system (D700 plus a bunch of prime 1.4 lens), and everything works very well. But, when I need to work with my Canon equipment (650 + 50mm 1.4 + Sigma 18-35...

Hi, My current gear list: - Rebel xsi - EF-S 55-250mm 1:4-5.6 IS - EFS 18-55m IS kit - EF 50mm 1.8 II - Tamrom 28-200mm 371D - and a Sony RS-100 M1 I am thinking of getting a t4i or t5i. But wonder whether Canon is going to release a new model soon. And maybe I should get a better lens instead of a body? Any suggestions/commons? Thanks a lot!

The lighting in my living room tends to be pretty dark even in the middle of the day, and I am getting quite frustrated about reducing noise in dark areas of my photos. I am a beginner and am still mastering trying to get the best balance for my photos. I use a Canon Rebel t4i. I was taking pictures of one of my guinea pigs and I was getting very frustrated with the dark areas of the photo.  This photo is at 135mm, shutter speed of 1/125 (ish, I don't remember the exact number but it was...

Hi, I'm new to this forum but have browsed a lot in the past when reading the wealth of information on here. I currently have a bit of a problem that I'd really like some help with - I've got about £380 to spend on a DSLR body -and- lens together, preferably second-hand from eBay and I'm also preferably looking at Canon or Nikon. About 4 years ago I bought a Nikon D40 which I liked a lot but didn't like the small viewfinder, lack of self-cleaning sensor, low FPS for wildlife photography,...

Hallo,  what focal length or what lens you find ideal for shooting groups of people (20-50, usually indoors). Now I usually use my 18-135 IS STM on 650D, because 50/1,4 is too long. I have already ordered new 6D with 24-105 but I'm also thinking about getting something wider - maybe 28 or 35 mm. Thanks --Zdenek Luzny

Hey all, I am not even a newbie, as I have no knowledge whatsoever in photography or the required equipment, hence I would require your assistance. I wish to purchase a gift for a relative, who uses Canon 650D and is seeking a lens that would provide extremely powerful zoom capabilities. I suppose it should be wide lens, preferably one that can be used to capture really sharp close-up photos from huge distances, specifically for taking wildlife close-up photos. So with that in mind, could...

Hi, I'm moving from Canon T4I to the GH4 and looking for an external flash with TTL, reasonable performance and price (I don't shoot professionally). I'm new to Panasonic cameras and wonder if anyone has any recommendations? There doesn't seem to be as many compatible flash options as there are for Canon, youtube reviews, etc. Other than the official Panasonic flashes I know of Yong Nuo, Nissin and Metz. From their websites they don't list many as supporting the GH4 (maybe GH4 is still too...

Here is the scoop. i received 800 dollars in store credit to best buy for my broken t4i. I have 800 dollars store credit to BB. I was thinking of upgrading to the 70d and paying a additional 500 for the kit lens package. I already have the 100 400 lens (my dads) 85 1.8, 24 90 (broken) and a 70 300. I primerally use my camera for filming water sports but i also frequently take pictures. Any thoughts??

I am owning Canon 650D for 1 and 1/2 year and happy with its performance. Now I am using 18-55 IS II and 55-250 IS II as zoom lenses. As I am interested very much in Bird Photography, I have shortlisted my tele / zoom preference to Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM Lens. Though I am satisfied with the reviews of Canon 100-400L, I am doubting whether this old lens is fully compatible with the new model 650D. I am also worried about auto focus performance in 650D and 100-400L combination. I...
