Please help me, I cant chose between Canon 650D/700D or Nikon D5300. I used the Canon 600D, i loved it, it was pretty much easy to control, and with the same system of canon and the touch screen, i prefer the Canon 650D/700D, however i am more concerned with the image quality, is it true that the image quality of the Nikon d5300 is much better? I plan to purchase the canon 650D/700D with one of these two lenses Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM or Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II and in case of Nikon, i will...

I wonder if any had such a experience. I thought it may be due to Magic Lantern, so I removed it and formatted the card, but it still sometimes completely drains the battery within one day even when switched off.

Just recently sold my T4i. Have previously owned 20,30 and 60 D, which I missed while owning the T4i. With the T6s having most of the features and some other ones similar to 70D.  Don't know which one to buy?  Would love everyones input...  Thanks. --Canon

As per the title. The typical el-cheapo China OEM one I bought only lasted 2 months. Well, the timing functions still work, but once it's plugged into the camera, my shutter triggers on half-press rather than AF, and the same when I'm in MF mode even. Pull it out, everything works fine.

Hello everyone! Looking for a little advice and some answers to a few questions I have.  I know this will be a difficult wedding to shoot, but I am not too worried about it because I am the 2nd shooter and the main shooter is my friend who is doing a favor for her friend (the one being married). So this isn't even a paid gig. Still, I want to try and do my best with the circumstances at hand. I figure if anything I am walking away with some experience and "lessons learned" --- Thanks in...

I have a repetitive motion and I want to make 4000 fps video. I want to synchronize repetitive motion and shutter release of 650D with Arduino microcontroller, and take every second at particular phase of the repetitive motion photo with 1/4000s exposure, and at the end assemble 4000fps video. Is this possible? What could be shutter lag window?

Hi, I'm not really certain which area this falls under so I apologize in advance if I'm posting in the incorrect forum. I have a Canon T4i (Love it) and I use a UV filter when shooting portraits (I just never take it off since I also shoot a lot of outside scenery). I use a strobe light with a shoot through umbrella when doing portrait shots. Now... here's my question: EVERY single time I shoot I get either a pink or purple (magenta) shade over the entire photo (it's especially noticeable in...
