I am considering changing from my current Canon T4i with 70-300, 17-85 and 10-22 lenses into an all in one. Possibly either the Canon SX-60HS or Sony RX 10 Mk III. These are at very different price points but that is immaterial. I travel a great deal for pleasure and want to reduce the load, neither are as wide as my 10-22 but I think I can live with that. My question is: has anyone made this kind of a switch and what are your feelings about it? Thanks for your help. Bikerguy
Hi, Most of you will probably burts out laughing, but I count on the few of you who are passionate about helping beginners out. Well, I always loved photography, people often comment I'm good at capturing emotions so I recently thought...what if I give it a go (here half of you will think I must be a very naive person or at least delluded :-) but every pro started somewhere. ... To the point though: I love shooting people and recently became a mum so my focus shifted to photographing babies....
Hello! So a couple of years ago I bought my child, the Canon Rebel T3i. She has done so much good and I love that camera to pieces, but I am in desperate need of an upgrade. I spend a lot of time recording video of myself, so the AF in video mode that came with later models is a must have for me. My question for you guys is, is the price difference for the T6i over the T5i (or T4i) worth it? If video is my primary focus (I also do a lot of photography), should I spend the extra money on the...
Hello experts, I am planning to upgrade from Canon Rebel T4i to next grade of camera. Basically not able to decide b/w NIKON D750 and Canon 7D Mark II. 80 % for Birds & Wildlife photography. 20 % for family portraits. Can you please guide me on which one to go for ? Is it good upgrade from Rebel T4i to 7D Mark II ? Thanks Rajesh

I'm planning to buy a used DSLR. I'll be shooting a fair amount of video, which should look pretty nice, as well as taking photos. I'm new to photography and will be using it mainly for pictures and video interviews to be used on websites I build/maintain. I've done quite a bit of research to figure out what would suite my needs but wanted to reach out to see what people much more savvy than I think. Since I'm looking to save money on the purchase I'm trying to find a bundle through...
Hi everyone, I bought a Canon 70D recently to replace my 650D in October. The funny thing is, I'm finding the camera's phase detection AF to seem to be somewhat less reliable than my 650D. In low light, it seems to soft focus more often, and even when I'm shooting in good light, there's always a few shots that didn't turn out critically focused. I mean, I understand focus errors happen regardless, but is it normal that I have around 1 shot in about 20 that doesn't focus correctly? I find that...
I am happy to admit that I am merely an amateur photographer. As it's Black Friday and I am going to South Africa for a safari in a few weeks, I thought it would be sensible to make sure I had a few more memory cards. There seems to be a lot of discussion over 32GB SD cards and little on 64GB. I have a Canon 650D and can't find any documentation about a maximum memory size that is supported.Am I missing something? Do you prefer 32 for some reason? Thanks in advance.
Apologies for the long story, but I thought I’d put in all the details, as I’ve been thinking about it for a while and I’m just going in circles. I’m thinking of upgrading to a Canon 70D or possibly 700D/650D, if it makes more sense for me. I currently own a Canon 50D and Canon 5D mk1 paired with EF 85mm 1.8. I used to have a EF-S 24mm 2.8, which I sold with the aim of buying the EF 28mm f2.8 IS. In my mind, the two lenses will give me all the flexibility I need: 135mm – APS-C + 85mm 1.8 85mm...
