Hi everyone I need some advice. I shoot portraits, weddings and sometimes events as a sideline job. I hate the af system on the mark ii and I lose a of good shots because of this. I use the 70D for wildlife and my love for birds. I have a 400mm f5.6 lens I use with the 70D which works very well. My question is, Do you think the 5D mark iii can do the job for my wildlife and birds? Then I will sell the 70D and the mark ii to get a mark iii. Thanks
Hello all, Just wondering if anyone else has had their monitor completely black out on them and what they did. Today mine started to flicker then just stopped showing anything, I've turned it off and on again and all the usuals but still the screen is a blank. Not sure if I'm going to have to swallow the costs and get a new one or it can be fixed for a reasonable amount of money, and quickly. Any advice great fully received. Thanks so much for reading. Take care. SARAH
I have a 5D classic and a 60D, and I found a used 5DII for 995e and a used 1DIII for 800e. My lenses are FF. How do these two cameras compare? Is it good the 1DIII has a 1.3x crop factor or will it be just a nuisance? Which has the best AF and the best IQ? --Teach me how to improve. Good Afternoon, I have never had photos printed. I would like to print the odd photo to approximately 48 inches by 36 inches on canvas or paper. Types of scenes may be portraits or landscape or underwater or astrophotography. What I would be grateful for is advice on whether there would be a noticeable difference in the print if the photo was taken on the Olympus EPL5 versus Canon 40D versus the Canon 5D Mark II when the print will be large. I own the Olympus EPL5 as well as the Canon 40D...
Hi guys. I have the 5DII and i'm concerned with the amount of hot/dead pixels in it. this is a 30s exposure, iso800, with the lens cap Before asking for help here, i googled it and found the fix commonly used . I did the following as described in the fix: "Wrench" menu > "Clean Manually" > waited for 30 seconds > turn off > turn on. Then i made the exposure below (SRaw1), imported to Hard Drive and converted to JPG with ACR. It worked, but only with the full Raw resolution. The SRaw1...
