I just upgraded from the T2i to the 7DMKII and learning the ins and outs of it. Other than the speed and focal points I have yet to have the "wow" moment. I had 5 years on the T2i and had the camera dialed in for what I needed. I bought the camera for two things: 1. Shoot my daughters sports: competitive sports and hunter/ jumper horses. The T2i did a good job, but I want a camera that can do a fantastic job. Have not been able to test out yet. 2. Real Estate Photography - This was my excuse...

Hi. A curved line that's lighter than the rest of the image started showing up when I was shooting in the woods in the snow. I attached images from my 18-55mm and 100-400. Water damage? Got the camera a little wet that day. It was 27 degrees when I started shooting that morning. ??? thx.

Hi Folks, I'm going to be going on a little trip to Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Muscat with the wife and toddler and want to try and travel a bit lighter with the camera gear. My usual mode of operations is to take everything JUST IN CASE. Everything is my 550D and EF-S 15-85, EF-S 10-18 STM, EF-S 55-250, EF-S 60, EF 35 (non IS) and 430 EX II flash. Can anyone with experience in the mentioned locations suggest the minimum I should be taking? My own thoughts are the 15-85 is the obvious priority as...

I have a T2i, and am thinking of purchasing a Panasonic DMC ZS50 for a pocket camera.  Just saw some specs on the T6i, should I upgrade the T2i along with the zs50?

I have a $4000 budget to upgrade my equipment. I currently have Canon T2i w/ the following Canon lenses: 50mm f/1.4 70-300mm f/4 - 5.6 L 10-22mm EFS 15-85mm EFS 60mm Macro EFS I purchased the Canon 5D Mark III w/ 24-105mm kit, as I have been lusting after this camera for years for all the great shots that have come out of it. I love the photos especially with the 50mm attached. However, I am a bit disappointed with the noise on my RAW photos - and the fact that they really aren't much better...

I've been a hobbyist since the Canon 550d/T2i came out a few years back. I've been using the ef-s 17-55 f2.8 and the ef 70-200 f4 L non-IS. I "think" that my skills have increased over that time and am considering upgrading my gear in order to do some gigs here and there. Reason I'm thinking about upgrading. I recently had the opportunity to do some publicity shots for a friend of mine who works in a local theater. Well, with the lighting conditions the way they were - I couldn't get my gear...

I currently shoot with a Canon T2i and the only type of shots that it does really well are, stationary shallow DoF shots with no straight lines or fine detail. Anything with fine detail that moves (foliage, text) gets destroyed by the line skipping recording method that this (and all cams with this sensor?) uses. Anything with straight lines is victim too (shingled roof) with lots of moiré and false color artifacts. So if I had to check off items on a "Need to be improved" list it would...

Hello, I have a Canon T2i with 24-105 as my every day lens.  I also have the 70-200 (not f 2.8 non IS).  I am going to a trip to Yellowstone and wanted to purchase a Super Zoom that will take photos of wildlife.  What do you recommend?  I will still bring my dslr but I feel that buying a super zoom for specific shots, wildlife in the early morning and at dusk, will be less expensive than a new lens. I have looked at the Panasonic FZ200 and liked that it uses f 2.8 through the whole zoom...
