I'm looking for a camera bag that's small enough to carry around with me, but also big enough to fit the following: Canon Rebel T2i with battery grip, one of the following lenses would most likely be on the camera Canon 15-85mm IS USM Canon 55-250mm IS STM Canon 10-18mm IS STM I'm planning on getting something like the newer Sigma 30mm f/1.4 at some point too (the Canon 24mm L lens is my dream lens but the sigma is a more realistic expectation) Probably a small flash Small accessories (lens...
I have always used Nikon cameras but recently I was given a Canon camera (eos 550d) to work with. When I use Nikon and I open my photos in photoshop the image size is for example 3600 x 2400 pixels but always with 300 dpi. Large and Fine Quality settings When I use my Canon and I open my photos in photoshop the image is for example 3456 x 2304 pixels but always with 72 dpi. High Quality settings. why is there this difference? regards
Good morning all. I have a question for you all. I am looking at a 7D as an upgrade from my 550D/T2i and was wondering if the upgrade is worth it quality wise for images etc and does the megapixels matter all that much as they are the same on both cams. I was thinking at 1st in grabbing a Tamron 150-600mm lens to add to my 550D but now struggling between the lens or body. I like to shoot wildlife and landscapes. The 7D seems to have very good reviews and want to stay within the crop cam lines...
I rented a Canon 6D as a trial to determine if I wanted to buy one. My canon lens worked great, but both of my Sigma lenses had intermittent problems with focusing --- either continually searching and then finally locking onto focus, or making a whirring noise and not being able to focus at all. Several times I had to turn the camera off in order to get the Sigmas to work properly, for a short time. These lenses are not EF-S lenses. I have had no problems with either Sigma lens on my...
Hello! Our family is heading to Sedona and then the Grand Canyon and I am trying to figure what is the right lens to rent for our us. I have a Canon T2i with the 18-55 kit lens and a 55-250 telephoto lens. I think a wide angle lens would be best for us. (I understand about the crop impact) After reading tons of reviews, I was sure I wanted to rent a Canon 10-22 and was searching for info on the correct filter to rent. Then I started to think about the Canon 10-18 given all the...
I have a Canon T2i with a Canon 55-250mm EFS lens that I use for photographing my kids' sporting events (soccer, track, equestrian riding/jumping, swimming). I primarily use Tv (aperture priority) mode for sports - adjusting WB, ISO as needed - with autofocus set to the center point. I usually have exposure set to evaluative or partial (using my first shots to gage depending on uniform colors, etc.) I shoot JPEG, first to get the burst rate I need and second I am much faster/efficient at...
I was wondering if there is any advantage with getting a (cheap) wide angle lens like the Samyang 14mm f/2.8 for the Canon 550D with a cropped sensor? I dont have any local stores to try it out so i wanted to know if would be a waste of time before ordering online. If it helps, i intent to use for filming purposes. Thanks in advance.
I am going to Italy in 6 weeks and could use some suggestions as to which lens and/or camera would help me produce some great pictures. I am an intermediate photographer and usually shoot wildlife/nature, but have recently discovered the awe and joy of street photography and architectural buildings, etc. I have the Canon T2i, the kit 18-55, and a 24-105. I have found that the 24-105 does not give me a wide enough angle for many pictures, and oftentimes I cannot move far enough back to get all...
