I've been shooting clips with the 1D C, which outputs to 4096x2160.  I'm primarily shooting for stock, so I don't really need a full featured editor.  I just need to be able to trim clips down, occasionally apply curves, and most importantly, output to 4096x2160. I'd like to avoid doing a subscription for Adobe Premiere Pro CC, since it's way more than I need.  My current version of CS5.5 can't handle 4k even on my 6-core i7 PC (SSDs for video). Hi you all. I have a question about the schutter frame count on one of my 1d canon cameras, its the 1ds Mklll how can i get a correct reading of the shutter count on this camera, with out sending it to Canon, is there any reliable software i can use?

Hi all, I posted this on the Canon 1D/5D forum as well. Was hoping to get some advice from guys as well cause I've been dabbling in some sports photography as well. I currently have the 70-300 non-L lens fixed onto my 5D. Been using it to shoot recreational soccer (5-a-side) of my mates and recently, of a slow pitch softball tournament. The slow pitch softball game really made me realise the limitations of the lower FPS on the 5D, leading me to consider getting a 7D or the older 1D cameras....

I have both the 1D Classic and the 1Ds Mark II.And on both cameras I have Personal Function 21 (P.Fn. 21) Quiet Mode (delayed shutter cocking) enabled.However, what I have noticed is that the 1D in this mode is noticibly quieter and faster in operation, much faster.When I release the shutter botton on the 1D the mirror returns much quicker than does that of the 1Ds, making for a more responsive/quicker reacting experience.Even though the mirror returns faster on the 1D it isn't noiser nor is...
