Hey everyone. First time posting on the forum, so bear with me. I shoot sports and action a lot - basketball, etc... I have two Canon bodies (70D and T3i) and am looking at a better wide angle lens. Here are the lenses I have: 18-55 kit lens 70-200 2.8 50mm 1.8 85mm 1.8 I'm thinking to sell the 85mm 1.8 and buying a better wide-angle (2.8) lens where the AF is going to work fast enough for sports like basketball. As I see it, I have 2 or 3 options if I'm not going with a Canon 24-70 (since I...
Hello, need protection filter for EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM Plan is to buy Marumi DHG Super Lens Protect 82mm Filter. Maybe someone own this filter and can answer couple of questions: 1. does genuine Canon cap fits on this filter? 2. additional vignetting on 16mm angle?? Thanx in advance
Hi, I'm interested in what lens I should buy next. I'm looking into L glass, but also kind of a budget. I've looked around on Amazon, BHPhotoVideo, and even Craigslist to just...
This summer I'm going on a 23 day road trip through the Badlands, Yellowstone, The Grand Tetons, Glacier, Banff, and Jasper National Parks. This will obviously open up the opportunity to get some incredible landscape shots. I shoot with a Canon 5D Mark II, and am wondering which of these two lenses will provide with me the best images. When it comes to the 24mm, I've seen some stunning results with the 5D mrk ii. Combined that with it's low light capabilities and better sharpness wide open,...
Okay so i've got a Canon 7D and looking in the future to upgrade to FFLooking at 17-40 so I don't have to change lenses when i go FF but no IS and is it wide enough i don't know. So my question is what's the best? I don't want to spend loads and the 16-35 isn't amazing for the price, so what should i get? what's coming out? preferably i want a walk around lens but for wide-angle/landscapes etc but i want to quality - I have the 18-135 IS and want something much better quality. Canon 7D100mm...
