The point with this camera is that small objects at distance (i.e. birds) will resolve those objects better (i.e. produce a better photo) than any large or lightly-populated sensor camera which has a much shorter zoom. This puts real power into your pocket that no large-sensor hope-sos can duplicate, since they cannot fit your pocket.

Just whom does Canon think they are fooling? Is this some kind of a joke? 50MP/cm2? A slow as molasses in January lens? A mediocre 230,000 dots on the LCD? I like Canon in general, but their P&S lineup just does not hack it. I am next in line for the EOS 550 (T2i). Problems: See above.
