Opinion: We got it in Hongkong early this month and it was always out of stock. This baby is a hot-seller! A tough body too; dropped it 3 times already and still going, going, going...
Very wonderful shots indeed...though the flash won't help much if shooting telephoto mode...Anyway I love this digicam. I was contemplating on the Sony P5 before (same size) but only w/ 3MP, plus Memory stick is so slooooow!
I'm glad we took this one and now I bring it anywhere I go...so handy!!!
Problems: No english manual! But I can manage...just point and shoot!!
Opinion: Quite please with the camera so far.
Problems: LCD screen ceased to function after 3 days, but the store replaced it.
Opinion: Greate designed camera. Very good image quality. After my previous Canon PS-10 I glad to see all old features inside (Stich mode). Very good battery life and compartment joined fith CF card. Finaly I can remove CF card w/o troubles.
I'm glad to have this camera and will update you when I'll learn more about it manual features, etc.
Problems: Multicontroller was better in PS-10. I have problems with "left" button. Switching Mode Dial I often touch also Power/Replay switching to Play mode.
Opinion: Debated whether to get this or the G2 but I opted for S40 because of the size. Love it so far. It's handy and very portable. I carry it with me wherever I go in case of any 'kodak moments'. It's easy to use (even my kids age 5 & 6 do not have any problem) and the image quality is good.
Problems: Difficulty in engaging the 'Set' button.
