Overall image quality is decent. The camera is so compact and portable that many shots would otherwise be impractical or missed if you had a more elaborate system. Especiallywhen it comes to underwater photography. There simply is no cheaper way to get half-way decent shots above land and under water than with this camera. The camera has taken moderate abuse, has been dropped and taken down to 90ft of sea water and been damaged but still worked and took pictures. Very sturdy design. Problems: ...

Bought it just now in India (Chennai) after a long search online and offline....Found this pure stainless steel body very sturdy!! Image quality is excellent Macro mode, but the AiAF captures the object in front only and discards the background completely which sounds insane. But still caught great pics!! Flash is not too strong and not effective in night mode :-( The manual settings mode is very good and gives plenty of options. Inclusion of shutter speeds adjustment could have made a hell ...

A small, beautiful, very sturdy body. Excellent image quality. Superlative white balance. Problems: Noise at 400 ISO.

I bought this camera about 3 months ago and managed to get a great deal on it. Although the battery that comes with it is rechargeable and lasts a fair amount of time, I bought a spare when I first ordered it. I was glad I did because experienced times that I did run out of power and had a backup with me. I would also advise buying a protective case to store the camera. I also got a 128 meg card free with the " package deal " I got and am happy I did that. I was willing to buy the extra card ...

I have had this camera for about 4 months and already took about 2000 photos with this great little camera. I believe that I know most of its pros, cons and wanna share them. Maybe it will help you decide whether s330 is the right camera for you. Size and weight : For me, it's about right. I also try s200 but it's too small for me to hold it with enough stability. And you'll certainly need this stability in some situtations. Zoom 3X: 3X should be the standard for all digicam. I used to feel ...

After much researching online and reading countless reviews, I knew that the s330 was the camera I wanted. It was my first digital camera purchase, and it took me awhile to learn how to use the manual features. I also bought a 128mb cf card, the psc-300 case, and a pc card adapter for my laptop. Now, about 6 months and many shots later, here is my impression of this camera: 1) I really love taking my camera around; it's compact size is perfect, although with the psc-300 case it's hard to ...

I bought this camera last May and now, 8 months later, the image counter shows more than 3,000 shots. Iā€™m still enthusiastic about the camera and the quality of the pictures and the ease to shoot good photos in almost every situation (outdoor, indoor, cities at night, portrait, macro). In the beginning I was a bit sceptic about the resolution of only 2 Mp. For testing I sent some crops to the digilab and ordered paper enlargements of size 20cm x 30cm (ca. 8ā€ x 12 ā€œ). The result was ...

This camera takes terrible pictures in low light: brown, grainy, and often out of focus. I have tried every reasonable setting to try to fix this problem, but nothing results in good-quality photos. There is also an extremely long lag for low-light photography--often some five seconds or more. Many times the camera refuses to take the photograph at all. Overall, the camera is simply unacceptable except in good lighting conditions. User interface, battery life, "feel" of the camera are all ...
