Canon PowerShot S2 IS

Opinion: The 0 cm macro focus range is pretty cool, you can take a 5 megapixel image of a bug or a penny and see amazing detail. Obviously the zoom is the main reason why people buy this camera over a smaller bodied compact. I am impressed with how fast and accurate the auto focus works with higher zoom. My only gripe is that every now and then images come out a bit soft when you use higher zoom, but they are usually very crisp. I love the independant button for video recording. The "picture while shooting video" function is nice, but only to stop the video and shoot a picture. The video looks pretty junky if you stitch the pieces back together. 2.4 fps until your card is full is extremely fast, at least compared to my older cameras.
