Opinion: This is my second try in digital photo, and i really enjoy it. The best is to check the results, some of my pictures are available at : http://community.webshots.com/user/mcdomfr
Problems: quit big camera
Opinion: Very nice camera. If you liked the Canon G-1 you are going to
love the Pro90 IS. A little sacrafice on resolution; however, the
10X IS lens is incredible. I was fortunate to have use of my
Canon reps sample for a couple of weeks. I will be replacing
my Canon G-1 with the Pro90 IS as soon as they begin
shipping later this month.
Problems: Chromatic aberrations on backlit subjects. Easy to correct if
you know what you are doing.
Opinion: I like many features of my new pro90, but I cannot understand how Canon can produce a camera that is
constructed to delay the flash nearly a second from when I depress the shutter release. It becomes guesswork
to photograph any living thing and a night mare to catch moving subjects. I also fail to understand how
”proffessional” reviewers can accept this fact and give the camera a five star rating for features. I bought my first
camereas in the beginning of the sixties, simple cameras for a few dollars. They triggered the flash
instantaneously. Enlighten an old photographer please. Johan Fjell
Problems: see above
Opinion: really a nice camera... the zoom is fantastic... the LCD Display as well...
Problems: - I didn't managed it to zoom while making a movie..
- the continious-mode is terribly slow (but honestly.. how often do you need it..
- if you want to snapshot something that is moving fast... your lost. the camera is to slow...
- the size... (quite big)
