Bought this one for my wife as she found the G12 too cumbersome and more camera than needed. We show the images on Panasonic 42 Neoplasma screen and, quite surprisingly, the images are very sharp and the colours are all excellent. In use, the small size is a huge plus. This one is based on the 1/2.3" BSI sensor that works great in low light. Lens is quite good except at both wide & tele. The 24mm wide is VERY useful though. When I arrived at the store to buy the S95 I found a shipment of the new models had arrived. I grabbed the 300 HS and haven't looked back. I know there ...
