Opinion: Hi all,
Has anyone got any comment on this new baby you own? I thought of getting it. Seen to have no posting for this.
Opinion: Sold a Sony F505V to get the G3. The custom settings and feature set are very deep. Ease of use is high and the camera keeps taking good/interesting pistures with very little help from me. The lens is great: fast and sharp. If what "digital" means to you is a versitile machine that is intuitive to use stuck behind a dandy lens that leads to excellently rendered pixles than look no further.
Problems: None
Opinion: Great starting Digital Camera if you don't already own one. The G3 has all the features that will keep a keen learner occupied and content for the next couple of years! However, haven said that I would not necessarily recommend this camera for someone looking at shooting "happy snaps", but someone whom wants to take it to the next step. The image quality, user friendly menus, intuitive controls, long lasting battery, and enormous base of enthusiatic G2/G3 users make this camera a natural choice for a sub Pro SLR Digital Camera.
Problems: Like any digital camera currently on the market, once you've mastered the AF controls (and understand how the camera focuses through contrast), it's a great tool for a creative mind!
Opinion: Great camera, No regret UPGRADING from Sony F707 to G3
