I've received this camera in exchange for my broken A70, which I think is excellent service from Canon. I picked one up last week at BestBuy for $150. Never had a Canon camera, and wanted to see if the PowerShot A series was as good as the reviewers made them sound. This camera is certainly reasonable compact, given that it uses two AA batteries for power. Other than that it is very similar to the Canon SD450, whish uses a proprietary battery. I only got this camera as a gift after my brother broke my Sony's screen....and I am so sorry I accepted his offer! The image quality is so bad as to defy belief.
