I love this camera. I've used it for over a year. I took it to my father in law's B-day party; a friend brought her Canon Rebel. We both shot a lot of photos. It was late afternoon with plenty of light. Both cameras took wonderful photos, it made me wonder, is the Rebel worth the extra $$$? or is the A410 just a darn good bargain. I would love to play with the A430 and A460! Problems: None, wish there is a trade-up program.....there again, this camera is doing all I need.

A great point-and-shoot camera for the price you pay. I used this for several months, but quickly outgrew its capabilities. Works quite well for snapshots, as well as an amazing macro function (however you need a tripod to use the supermacro mode, otherwise your pictures will be blurry) A good camera for an amateur, or a first camera, but if you are after something with a little more control over, look elsewhere. Problems: No RAW mode. Lacking any manual controls. Image quality is very grainy ...

I bought it new about below 100usd, excellent camera for macro shot but landscape. Excellent color, sharpness, better focus responses than other major brand. you can check my gallery to be sure it is right for you before make a decision: pbase.com/yinghao/2w Problems: i wish aperture can be adjust manually for long exposure.

wow, wow! wowww more. Simply put this camera is unbelieable for the price. One of the best cameras I ever had for under .. well name your price. This camera is fast, has tons of options , super sharp, best white balance of almost any camera I ever used and small . The only thing lacking unfortunately is resolution but for most everyday use its enough. Simply put nothing wrong with this. One of the all time best cameras I ever had. If the 4megapixel newer version is anywhere near as good, I ...

I'm a huge fan of Canon cameras - but not this one. It does take good pictures for a $150 camera, if you can overlook the stuck pixels (see below). The best features of this camera are that it uses AA batteries, has a 3.2x optical zoom, the pictures have great color, and outdoor shadows are not too dark like with most low-end cameras. The disadvantages of this camera are poor construction and no audio with video. Also, the LCD viewfinder will be out of focus until you press the shutter ...

I've been watching camera reviews and comparing their features since the last year. Canon, Nikon, Kodak, Sony, Olympus, etc... All kind of P2S cameras. From Sony cybershot S40 to Panasonic Lumix FX1. When this 410 comes out, i finally make my decision. This is the camera i should have! A410 is surely better than its brother A400. The LCD brightens on low light condition. You can still see objects from LCD altough it is almost totally dark.. or, use the optical viewfinder which doesn't exist ...

A wolf in sheeps clothing! Loads of features, probably most you'll never use, but brilliant package, especially for the low cost. Having used a Minolta X700 SLR for 20 over years, this camera is my entry into the digital imaging world, and what a great way to start! Went for the A410 because it can fit wherever a glasses case can, has some hand grip for a P&S camera and excellent high resolution LCD screen. Don't be put off by the LCD's below average size: it has 125 000 pixels (compared ...

This Camera is excellent for the beginner or amateur photographer looking for a cheap digital camera on the market. This is a new Canon, and it works amazing. There are many features hidden on this camera though, so make sure you look. The photo quality is amazing, so much better then a lot of cameras I've shot with. And for this price, the camera is totally worth it. OVERALL: Deffiently worth it. Problems: The build of this camera can be tough to use with big hands, since this camera is ...

Good image produced at 120K pixels in the LCD monitor. Good camera shots with lots of features instored.... Problems: Kinda small to have a grip on its body. Why there's no audio capture during movie mode unlike the A400s and no A/V output w/c canon removes or forgot to squeze in from this upgraded unit.
