Ooooh, first review in over 2 years. Wow. That said, this is an awesome camera. Who said megapixels matter? I've had this camera for years, and I just bought a digital rebel (canon's image quality has me sold). However, I expect to continue carrying this camera alongside my rebel for quick snapshots and for banging around. This thing is TOUGH and it's rediculously simple to use and take good photos. Not that anyone cares anymore about this camera, but I thought I'd still give my opinion ...

I HAD THIS CAMERA SINCE MAY/O1, I ENJOY USING IT, PRODUCE EXCELLENCE PICTURES, EVEN 10X11 PRINTS. EVERYTIME I WANT TO BUY A NEW CAMERA, OTHER THEN HIGHER PIXELS, THE LENS ARE THE SAME 3X ZOOM. I AM DUE FOR A NEW CAMERA, I WISH THEY MAKE THE A80 WITH 6X OR 8X ZOOM. Problems: NONE

Had the A20 a couple of years ago. Image quality was great for a 2mp camera. Problems: None

Bought the A20 2years ago for $400. What a disapointment....Shutter speed is like a tortoise. Don't buy it for soccer games. I found it only useful for still shots. However what was most disappointing was the camera software in the computer was unreliable causing the computer to jam frequently and have to shut it down. It always worked the second time round though. The other problem that developed as the warranty expired was the on and off switch became unreliable and indicated flat ...

Looks and feels like a real camera. No gimmics - just point and shoot for good photos. We've taken 1150 photos since October 2001, with generally pleasing results. It's battery hungry, like most digitals, but we now have 3 sets of 1.8 Amp hour NiMH batteries, and they give good service. We have found the software easy to use. Problems: We'd like more warning of battery exhaustion. Large items in the foreground distract the auto focus, even if they're outside of the focussing rectangle in the ...

I bought it a year ago, by chance, for I had never been interested in taking pictures, and didn't read too much about digital cameras. I was lucky because I bought it by chance and at a very very very convenient price. The pictures are great, unless for my basic knowledge. I've printed more than 300 pics in 10x15cm and the results are perfect at 1024x768. For me is the Gibson LesPaul of digital begginers. Now after a year on pure joy I'm thinking about G2. Problems: Sometimes my pulse is not ...

I bought this camera on ebay and got an awesome deal, included wide angle lense and extra cf card. battery life with regular alkalines was actually ok if you used the lcd sparingly, but you will never get away from nimh if you own a digicam. I've read people putting down this camera because they couldn't get it to focus indoors. I see how they got frustrated, but I put the camera in manual mode and played around with the settings and was able to get it to focus fine. Other than that I'm ...

I have been using my digital camera for more than a year. I am really happy with it. wherever I go, it is always with me. I read some of the reviews complaining about the battery life. I never had this problem. With the full charge of my batteries, I take 200-300 pictures depending on if I have the LCD on and use flash or not. This number of pictures should be pretty good. I always keep extra batteries in my camera case, since they are already cheap. Problems: - Sometimes its focus is a bit slow

Very nice camera indeed. Takes good pictures with blitz. Maybe a bit big. Problems: USB connection. I didn't want to use the default program included. I plugged the flash card into a flashreader I already had and just copied the raw .jpg files my self (This should be possible with the usb-cable too... it should be easy)
