I had the Canon A10 as my second camera. My first camera was a Jenoptik JD350, a not so cheap, then about 200 Dollars, CMOS-Sensor with a fixed resolution of only 640x480 pixels in bad quality. So the A10 was an huge improvement with its stellar image quality and resolution compared to its predecessor, the Jenoptik. As I was still new to the digital camera game, I first set the resolution to only 1024*768, as I thought that this was more than enough...Those were the times. Image quality is ...

I've had my A-10 almost 2 years. I have used it under a lot of different conditions. I find the picture quality to be good and the features are great. I have had no major problems with this camera. I take it with me as a back up camera to my 35mm SLR. This was my 2nd digital camera. Good quality and photographs for the money. Problems: No real problems.. It is a bit hard on batteries. You need to make sure to carry extra batteries with you.

the A10 is not mine but i got to use it continously for 1week on a trip abroad. construction of camera is good looks like an ordinary 35mm auto-focus camera. features are just ok, more or less not too complicated and not too simple either. image quality i have no complaints because most of the shots that i got happened only after taking time in composing it. but this camera is also great for taking snapshots (fast shots). this camera is very easy to use because after the second day of my ...

The Canon PowerShot A10 is indicated only for beginner photographers. The quality of the images is good but not in low-light conditions. Very easy to use. Problems: - Image quality in low light conditions - Macro is unfocused - Manual functions very limited.

Excelent bargain camera for beginners or web publishers. Actually, it's the old-fasioned low-end with a current price (in Europe) at about 300 EUR or less. By my experience, there's an uncompetitive earn/cost ration, good optics and easy to use cabinet. For the future upgrade, I'm mostly made-up to stay further in this Canon's PowesShot line... For your view, I've published my very first steps with my camera at: http://www.angelfire.com/home/vj/ Problems: I miss software red-eye reduction ...

After 8 months of use I'm still very happy with this camera. It really takes great pictures. By far better then I expected. You won't ever need better photos for digital viewing. I get photos from friends online and don't like I have to scroll up and down left and right on oversize photos. And sometimes quality is nowhere compared to my A10. I learned a lot about photographing with this camera. I think it has quite a few features and took me this 8 months to learn all gradually. Now I want to ...

I would say that this is about the best camera you can get for your money. It has loads of features for the price. I have taken hundreds of pictures since I got it a few months ago, I have even made some really interesting pictures by adjusting the WB and Exposure. I'm sure that anyone who gets this camera will be more than satisfied. Problems: I haven't come across any major problems yet. One thing is... make sure to get rechargable batteries, like any digital camera this one eats up ...

Very good images for it's class. look and feel like a real camera. construction is solid. if u r looking to snap quick shots, this is the one as it has very quick shot to shot time. images comparable to 2.0 MP cameras of other brands. good low lighting images and powerful flash ( more than 10ft. ) nowadays hv software to edit images and u don't need real high MP cameras to do the job. Just one that can capture sharp images and this canon a10 does the job well... Problems: as often, go ...
