Opinion: Very Durable camera has travelled the world with me. I like the size. I blew out the lights when I plugged it in the wall in Italy and it still works.
Problems: TWAIN Driver does not work on Win2K
Opinion: I have had my 350 for 3 years. I use it exculsively for post pictures on ebay. Good points: simple to use and takes a great picture. Bad points: When I take closeup shots I have a VERY difficult time focusing for a sharp pictue. It eats batteries. Overall....6 out 10 rating.
Problems: Focusing for closeups
Opinion: I bought this camera in mid-1997. It takes reasonably nice pictures limited only by resolution (640x480). After two years, I gave the camera to my Dad, and he's still using it. Basically, a really solid, well constructed camera that is great for point-and-shoot applications.
Problems: I bought one of the first ones, that did not have a video-out port.
Downloading takes forever through a serial connection.
Drivers showing age now.
Opinion: For the time in which it was released, this was a digicam with a very good price/performance rating. A lot smaller and handier than the Powershot 600. Has a very good macro function, but you have to focus manually. I think it will never break down. It still works like new.
Problems: driver is outdated and works only on win98 or lower.
you have to hold teh camera very still in order to get sharp pictures
