Brother Printers
One of the largest electronics manufacturers in the world, Brother started life in Nagoya, Japan in 1908, with the founding of the Yasui Sewing Machine Company. Brother International Corporation was established in the US in 1954, and in 1962 the company became officially known as Brother Industries Ltd. Brother entered the printer market via a collaboration in the 1970s with Centronic - a pioneering American printer manufacturer, and although it has never been a particularly big name among photographers, Brother continues to produce a wide range of commercial and home printing solutions more than 40 years later.
