Opinion: it's a good cam for a price of about 250 $ here in Germany.
very large memory !!
Problems: nothing important
Opinion: This is a follow-up to my earlier review of the Clik camera. I've now used it for nearly a year, and I'd have to say I've had nothing but good luck with it. Having read the other reviews, I feel compelled to address the battery life issue. Use Energizer ACCUrechargeable NiMH batteries and for heaven's sake, leave the LCD viewfinder off. With conventional batteries and the viewfinder off, I can only get 40-50 shots per disk - but using NiMH, my record is 150 shots (a disk and a third or so). I took 750 pictures in Germany alone - 500 or so turned out great, the remainder were largely my fault for not waiting for auto-focus before clicking. All in all, I'd recommend this camera to anyone who can find a 10-pack of Clik disks to ensure they'll never run out of media. The later 2.4.x Linux kernels support the camera as a Clik drive directly now too, negating the need for the PCMCIA card drive. I will admit that the lack of an optical zoom is still a shortcoming, but I get around that with my digital video camera's zoom and still-picture capability. The Agfa camera produces much higher quality pictures, but if you *must* zoom, the camcorder's there with its 26x optical and 640x480 res.
Problems: Auto-focus can be a little slow to track, but you can easily listen for it to focus on the target. Other than that, nothing. Takes a little time to write to disk, but as long as you're not expecting to take pictures rapidly, it's a great camera.
Opinion: I purchased CL30 Click as a backup and for use by other family members while on vacation. The price effectiveness of Click Disks make this camera an absolute value (about $10. a disk). The image quality is very good for its price range and ease of use is simple enough for my 10 year old.
It's a great entry level and a superb back up, particularly for long trips. I picked up mine new at overstock.com for $200, shipping included. It comes with three disks.
Problems: None given the price range of camera. I would of course expect more features and quality from a more expensive camera.
Opinion: Well I bought the afga 6 months ago, as second camera and a first dissapointment was the fact you had to go into the menu for the zoom, only X2 is possible and at low quality. Also the batteries, 5 shots and renew the batteries, the flash is not strong enough, and the picture quality is poor.
