Hey there,This is my first post so be easy on me ;)I recently got into photography and thought I'd buy myself a Sony HX300! It's a brilliant camera (still getting to grips with most of its settings)! Anyway I've stumbled upon a little problem! The problem is the on/off switch! But here's the funny thing! When it's pressed to turn on it's fine and there isn't a problem, but then when I want to turn it off I press the button and nothing happens! Quite weird so I'm not sure where the problem lies...

Hi there, My husband just received his 30 year long service award with the company he is employed with.  There are several options re awards one can choose from...one of them being a free camera out of a choice of seven.  BUT...we are not in the 'know' so to speak re cameras.  Therefore, we have been trying to research the different brands we can choose from...my nephew suggested we check out your website. Not going to lie...we are both OVERWHELMED...and were very excited when we noticed...

I have just received a 55mm UV lens filter for above camera and it doesn't fit!  Too small.  Suggestions have been that 55mm is the correct size.  Do I go up to 58mm or 60mm.  Waited 3 weeks for lens to get here so am reluctant to order again until I am absolutely sure of size. Can anyone please help with this issue. Thanks.

I found out, its not in all cameras with EVF possible to review/inspect taken images in the viewfinder. For example its not possible in the Sony HX300, but in the HX400V. 1. How about postview in the TZ60 = TZ61 = ZS40 ? Can you inspect images you took an hour ago, in the viewfinder, by switching to play and using/switching-to the EVF? I am interrested in either the Panny TZ60 or fuji Finepix S1 . 2. Just another question: How many button presses to switch from Autofocus to Manual Focus...

Is there a limit to the amount of memory on a memory card the camera can access? Twice now I've been out taking photos and when I get home find the first ~3.25GB of photos are read fine without problem but the rest come up with a message saying  Windows Photo Viewer can't open this picture because either Photo Viewer doesn't support this format or you don't have the latest updates to Photo Viewer. I've just installed Photo Viewer so expect it should be up to dateFormats are the same as all...

Does the HX300 have some sort of image stabilization active all the time? In my old Olympus there was a setting to turn IS on or off (OFF was recommended for use with a tripod). The HX300 has an anti blur for low light shots, and has "Steady Shot" for movie mode. References to these were all I could find in the manual, so I was left wondering about it.

Hi all, Back to 2006, the first zoom camera I bought was Panasonic FZ20, 12x, 5MP. It was great at that time, I got sharp images especially at 1600 x 1200 and less sharp at higher resolutions.  Recently, I bought FZ200 and I was disappointed with IQ, I only got sharp images at lower resolutions which is not good in today's standards! the best thing in this camera is slow-motion video which is reach 120 frame per second in HD quality (I think it is lower, but scaled up to HD dimensions) . I...
