The Sigma 150mm F2.8 EX DG OS Macro HSM inherits many of the features of its predecessor, the 150mm F2.8 EX DG HSM, including Sigma's Hypersonic Motor for fast and silent autofocus and a 1:1 maximum magnification ratio. The OS optical stabilization system is new though, and this lens now incorporates splash-proofing. Three SLD elements are used in its 19 element / 13 group design to minimize aberrations, and a 9-blade circular diaphragm promises attractive rendition of out-of-focus regions of the image.
