Opinion: When I bought the camera I totally knew what I want. In this case it meant camera with pretty small body and lenses (but not too small because of grip) and at least good image quality.
Finally when it came to an action the camera itself performed pretty good. I'd recommend it as second camera to a photographer who looks for "cheap" camera with good performance/cost ratio.
It's also very good for a person who wants to start with digital photography, but doesn't know wheather she/he will continue after an initial dissapointment which comes after the initial enthusiasm.
During the time I used it it performed very well as a camera for landscapes. For other main types of photo (meaning Portraits, Studio, etc.) it seems to score an average compared to a DSLR, but definitely seems to perform better than it's price competitors.

+ Price
+ Size of body and lens
+ Very good performance on low ISO and good light conditions
+ Pretty good grip
+ Very good layout of buttons
+ Every basic option (as ISO, WB, Colour profile) can be set in ~3-5 steps
+ Quick and silent AutoFocus

Problems: - Seems to perfom pretty poor on bad light without flash and tripod.
- Noise reduction can in some case (low light, high iso) negatively affect image quality
