Hi i have a NX1000 and was looking at getting a flash for it funds are tight so i was looking at the Samsung SEF20A and the mecablitz 26 AF-1 digital - Samsung. not sure what one would give me more versatility outs of the two or would I be better off spending the extra $$ for SAMSUNG NX SEF-42A FLASH. if there are any other options id love to hear about them. thank you for taking the time to read my question.

Hi ! I received my new NX30 yesterday. Haven't had time to use it that much yet, but have noticed a few things. It is way faster than my NX1000, that's for sure, but some elements bother me a bit in the menus : I used to get to the picture assitant (where you can change settings to shoot B&W for example) via the FN button which has almost all options available on the NX1000. With the NX30 I can only access it via the main menu. In the manual, they state that it is available via the FN button...

Hi ! So I've taken the plunge and have ordered an NX30 as the price was really good (400 euros for body). Unfortunately, the batteries I have for my NX1000 are not compatible with the NX30. The second battery I bought is from Subtel in Germany and I have been really pleased with it (I got one for a portable PC, another one for a phone and one for the NX1000 and never got any problem), but as there is a chip on the NX30s batteries, I'd like to know what brands you are using as generic, non OEM...

Hello. I really love taking pictures using my Samsung NX 1000, except that sometimes it's hard to compose a picture when I'm outside the house. Thus I find the need of a viewfinder for my camera. Can someone give me an answer if I can use Sevenoak 2.5x SK-VF01 on my camera or not?? Many thanks before.

Hello friends, My NX1000 got nuts. While taking pictures the camera moves from A to P to S modes without me even touching the dial. I'm going on a trip and want to downgrade to 1.10. How can I do that? Need help ASAP * Taking out the battery and performing factory reset didn't help.. Cheers

I'm using the NX1000 with the 50-200mm lens, I notice that even in bright light I can't use high shutter speeds(1/1000sec). Settings used are aperture priority mode ISO 400, f/5.6 with the shutter speed ranging from 1/200sec - 1/800sec. Obviously I could change to shutter priority mode or manual to force the shutter speed to go faster but then risk having a under exposed photos. Now if I'm using my dslr (canon 600D with 100-400mm lens) with the same settings I get shutter speeds up 1/2000 or...

I purchased a refurbished NX1000 with the 20-50mm kit lens, it has the latest firmware update,  so far I'm extremely impressed with the IQ, however, the camera behaves erratically when I first turn it on. The PSAM dial will be selected to A or S but the screen menu will rotate between P, S A and M. I have to manually rotate the PSAM mode dial   back and forth and set it back to A and then screen will finally settle back to A (or whichever mode I selected on the dial). Anyone else encountered...

Hello! I chose my camera based on reviews here, so I figured this should be the place to ask. Recently I tried to import photos from my nx1000 to lightroom and I noticed that some images are not displayed, instead there's this icon with "image not supported" text at the bottom. Have any of you encountered this problem? If you did, how did you resolve it? Thanks!

Hello! My budget and research caused me to choose the Samsung nx1000 as my first dslr. I received it recently and cannot return it because I bought it used. I realized when I got it that Samsung doesn't carry a 300mm (or higher) lens for my model. I mainly love to photograph nature and animals that are often far in the distance behind fences. I had a 30x optical zoom on my previous point and shoot camera and I LOVED the zoom. Now that I have a dslr, is there ANY lens made by ANYONE that is...
