Hello, I have just upgraded from 10.6.8 to 10.9.1 and am trying to re-instal my plugins for PTGui Pro. I was using Enblend and Smartblend (through a program called Wine, which I believe still works on 10.9.1). I did all of this so long ago on my old computer that I've forgotten the steps and would appreciate any help. I was also using a plugin by Erik Krause for extracting and inserting floors. Does anyone know if this works with 10.9.1 as well? Any help or links appreciated. Thanks.

Hi, I'm in the market for a new 35mm lens and been thinking of either getting the Sigma 35mm Art of the HD 35 and is still undecided of what to get. Since I've already tried the Sigma even on a different mount, I know what I will be getting into if I went that way but the local price is still a bit prohibitive being around US$1000 (converted to my local currency). And as of the HD 35 Limited (around US$780), I have a few questions especially for the owners with a K5II/s or K3. 1. How fast is...

I have a Canon Mark ii Pro 9000 printer that I bought back when I was working, never used, but now that I am retired, want to use. The printer has set on a shelf for almost 7 years collecting dust. Now I want to start using it but was wondering if there are suggestion regarding wetting the printer heads with cleaning fluids, steps for bringing it back to life after so long a period of no activity, etc? Any advice will be greatly appreciated as I try to learn how to use this printer with...

Looking for the best site to display my work/portfolio for clients/jobs. I know a good photographer from San Diego who uses Krop. I've heard SmugMug is pretty popular as well. Flickr seems more like an Instagram for people with better cameras or more serious approach but maybe not a good site to show possible clients or people you wanna work for. Does anyone know what's the best or better go to site for posting ur portfolio and best work on? Best way to get it out to people, more professional...

Hello guys. I'm a beginner in photography knowing some theory but lack practice. Even though i like shooting telephoto what i'd really like to learn are close ups with shallow DOF. I hear primes are best for that. I had Olympus e510, photos with it were good but i hated its menus. Also it was slow to focus in low light (multiple flash bursts tend to get on ppl's nerves). I sold it cos i got a really good price for it and am now looking for a replacment. I'm buying used but with warranty and...

I have a Pentax K-r and two 50mm lenses. I don't need 2 50mm's so I want to test which one will take the best images and sell the other one. One is a SMC Pentax-A 50mm f/2.0 manual. The aperture ring works fine but sometimes the button doesn't press down, then it won't turn, and sometimes the button just doesn't pop back up to lock the ring at the aperture. The other is a MultiCoated Sears 50mm f/1.7.Which is in slightly better condition, smooth, but is a "Sears" lens.It does say "auto" on the...

I recently purchased a Tokina 300mm f2.8 at-x pro (eBay).  I had the idea of a low budget birding set up, I saw the video Krisinct and its the same set up.  My results have been mixed, soft images, not too many sharp ones. I have done some reading about AF fine tune, not sure if that is the issue.  It probably is.  I could use some feed back and guidance.  The lens is in excellent condition. I like the concept of used equipment for me at this time to get started.  I want to make sure I like...

Today, I clicked on an Adobe Update on my desktop--at least that's what I thought it was. First thing I knew, I was being asked to sign into my Adobe account, which I did. Then it asked my date of birth, which I did. Finally, I got the agreement to terms, and I saw it wasn't an update to CS6 but rather installing Creative Cloud, so I did not agree. Then I went to Control Panel and uninstalled the program. I guess this must have been put on my desktop the last time I checked for updates, and I...
