Hi guys,My almost 5 year old K20D used to nail AF for most shots back in the day, if something was out of focus it almost always could be attributed to user error. But lately I think it has begun to behave erratically, sometimes AF works fine, sometimes it back focus by large amounts with same lens, even though using 1 point AF with contrasty subject in the middle of screen.It happens more often with some lenses (DA35Ltd), but I have seen it with other as well. As the price of the oryginal K5 (not II) became very attractive in my country, I consider the upgrade from my current K20D, which I like and which performs very well. I know about handling, IQ, high ISO performance, but I'd like to ask you about the AF. K20D is OK, I can't complain, but I'd like to know, how it looks in K5, comparing to K20D. According to the tests it's better, but I'd like to ask users of both, what is the difference in terms of speed and accurace, in good and low...
Anybody made this switch? Is AF speed and tracking a lot better? Higher ISO seems like a huge jump. Have been thinking of moving to K5 but Sony offerings have me intrigued. Have been shooting memories of family and friends mostly. Enjoy my K20d but do seem to miss several shots due to AF IMO.
