K200 is very very good camera. I did extensive comparisons with various Canon and Nikon cameras and I kept coming back to this Pentax for the value and options it offered for the price.View review in forums Leave a comment on this review
My second Digital SLR, after the Nikon D40X, and the beginning of my "love story" with Pentax. It was so joyful to use, than after it, i'll stick to Pentax for their DSLR. I can't adjust myself to Canikon ergonomy, than i find mediocre. The two negatives was the AF, AF's points was too big, too sluggerish in the dark, and continuous shoting is inexistant. And the ISO performances, but it was a common plague for all cameras with CCD sensors. A true photographic tool, i'm still using mine for ...View review in forums Leave a comment on this review
Very easy to use but intuitive enough for keen amateurs and enthusiasts alike. 5/5 build quality of the body, Very ergonomic. Very good and flexible raw modes and files. Build in shake reduction will work with any Pentax lens ever made (will require bayonet adapter for 67, 645 and m42 mounts). Very good 11 point autofocus. In my opinion, A better camera than the Nikon D60/D3000, At an even lower price. Problems: 2 breakdowns! #1 jammed aperture lever and shutter refusing to fire, but camera ...View review in forums Leave a comment on this review
I've brought my K200D with SMC 18-250mm lens to many picturesque spots, e.g. Angkor Wat and Thailand. The result was amazing. - Handling is ergonomically correct. - Build quality is very solid, especially no dust found inside the camera after those dusty trips. - Image quality is great. - Menu is easy to use - AF is good although it may be confusing when taking fotos in the very dark, but this is not the problem, I can use Manual Focus. - View finder is very clear and big. So, no problem ...View review in forums Leave a comment on this review
I recently upgraded from a *ist DS with which I had no problems whatever. The upgrade was painless in terms of familiarization and operation and the difference in overall image and build quality is amazing. I wanted to jump to the K20D but couldn't justify the extra £200, and nearly changed brand to Nikon. I am very happy with my choice. Fantastic Value for money and superb build quality Problems: Absolutely none. And I don't expect anyView review in forums Leave a comment on this review
This camera right here is excellent. I was looking for A feature packed D-SLR and i almost bought the Nikon d80, but that camera was reaching the end of it's life and instead i chose the K200D. It has a bigger screen, HyperProgram (MTF Priority),More custom functions, Better ergonomics, Dust removal facilities and Shake Reduction facilities. But best of all fine image quality. Problems: Absolutely NONE!View review in forums Leave a comment on this review
