This is still my most favorite camera body, bought it in January 2007 - I have shot numerous quality photos with this one. Feature-cost analysis wise this is pretty much the best offer you can get. Problems: The rubber grip has become a bit faded white-ish that kinda looks bad.

I have no problem givin'it all the 5's!!! It's my first dslr and i'm not mucha than a newbie in photograph. What I can say is that the pic's are great, and to prevent that lack of "shake reduction" I tend to snap more than one pic, maybe 3 our 4.... batteries are no problem, i'm using recharbles, 2600, they give me over 300 to 400 snaps regular use!!!!! the pics are getting out great (for my standards anyway!!!).you can check them out on my website :) Problems: the only problem is the ...

The K110D is my first DSLR and I have five other point 'n' shoots and almost six years experience of digital camera shooting. I used a Pentax SpotmaticII for over thirty years and various rangefinder types (and box cameras) since I started photography in 1948 and although I am not a great photograher, and possibly not even a good one, I think I know my way around a camera and what they should do. Having NEVER had a camera with shake reduction or image stabilisation, I had no hesitation of ...

in the line of nikon d40. outstanding lenses performance. sharpness and easy to use. I like specially the dials bar to configure the color, tone and exposure. also the possibility to configure pictures colors more bright vivid. even a child could configurate this camera to its own taste. beautiful landscapes shots. Din. A4 prints exellent. overall a great DSLR camera for the price of a point and shoot of much lower quality. RAW and software included. Cheers Problems: No

I searched a lot for my first D-SLR camera before my final decision. When I searched, I was decided to buy one of these: Nikon D40x, Canon 400D, And Pentax K100D. But because I am new in D-SLR world, and do not want to pay much, I decided to buy Pentax, since its price is pretty less than others. So I was confused to choose which one? K100d or K110D. Then I searched for SR Shake Reduction feature of K100D. K100D was approx. 20 percent expensive then K110D and I decided to buy K110D and use ...

This is my second pentax slr camera(before I had ist DL2). Noticeable improvement. Using K11oD for about 5 months now. This camera suites me very well. I had chance taking it for a couple holidays already. Had very nice pictures taken. You may consider going for k100d with SR, but be awaire that the camera will be about 20% heawer. Myself now would go for k100d. adv: -AA batteries -good flash -good DA kit lens(will be nice if get 17-70mm Sigma) -if do not get ennoyed keep chenging lenses go ...

Great camera adn great pictures! I was using it from day one and found the ease of use to be very very good. Great for a novice photographer. Problems: shutter is rather noisey but reminds me of my Pentax Z-XM.

I've been an SLR user for 15 years now. This is my first jump to digital. (Slide film user almost exclusively for the past 8 years) I'm very pleased with almost every aspect of this camera. The ergonomics are great, it feels good in my hands. It takes AA batteries, which some people may not like. I go outdoors a lot though, in the cold here in New England where it pays to be able to have 1 or 2 extra sets of batteries warming in your pocket. Picture quality is excellent, construction is ...

The price on this camera with two lenses was a steal so I opted for the Non IS version and I am very pleased with the camera. Some complain about the buffer but I think that's mosly based on paper specs as it shoots plenty fast enough for my uses. Having used the Ist DS before I find the new menu system for key changes much nicer and very intuitive to use. Focusing also seems faster than the DS and the size of the camera is very comfortable. If megapixels are not the key factor this camera ...

This is my first dslr and I am in no way unhappy. I went from a point and shoot(Kodak Easyshare 750) to this and there is no comparison. The image quality is superb but the reason I purchased this camera over a Nikon or Canon was for three reasons. 1. Price- with a lens I got it for $534 minus a $50 rebate. 2. I prefer the option of AA batteries instead of a rechargeable internal battery and 3. the lens selection is staggering. The Nikon D40 has almost no AF lens selection due to it's lack ...
