Hi every one. I have been using Nikon View NX2 and Serif Photoplus X5 to do all of my PP. I have been thinking of getting some more PP software like Topaz Adjust and or DeNoise and have also been considering one of the Lightroom variants. I know Topaz Adjust will work as a plug-in with P/plus X5 because Serif have tried to sell it to me. Would I see a great advancement over what I already have with these options or can you kind people suggest any others I might consider. I am using Windows 7....

Hi! I want to upgrade from a simple point-and-shoot camera to a bridge camera (also called superzoom camera). I've found five possible candidates: the Fujifilm Finepix HS 30EXR, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ150, the Nikon COOLPIX P510, the Panasonic Lumix FZ38 and the Pentax X-5. I'm here to ask you guys which camera you think would be best for me. What I want to do with the camera: shoot street fashion photography - this means that I would like to have a camera with a lens that has a possible...

Hi Can anyone please advise. The X5 magnification in the EVF lasts about two seconds before jumping back to normal view when focussing manually. This is hardly enough time to focus on a subject at all. How do I get the MF Assist X5 magnification to stay on longer. Thanks for any assistance. Sup Mylo

Hello, I am in the process of creating a book that about street artists. Because of the ephemeral nature of the work, we are relying on the artists to send pictures of their art. (the backstory) I was told by our editor that for printing purposes the photos need to be 300dpi. But many of the photographs the artists are sending are at 72 dpi. I am trying to figure out if they can be used in our book because they appear not to have a high enough resolution. I have done a little research but an...

I am a sometimes traveller + was wondering if the Pentax Optio X-5 would suit taking good pics in places like Thailand Vietnam etc, also profiles of particulars like my staffy dog + cockateils. Any info on this camera would be appreciated. Thanks Ash.

I'm 18, and go to uni, and I'd like to get into photography as a hobby. Being a student, I don't have too much money, so my budget is about £300, which I found on eBay can get cameras retailing for about £450 on places like Amazon.I don't think I really want to get into DSLR's, but I certainly want something that produces good quality pictures. I imagine I'll be using it to take pictures of all sorts I come about, pictures in the local forest, animals, interesting things about, also pictures...
