Greetings to everyone, I was working on a file under CorelDraw X5, when the power suddenly went off and I couldn't open the file when the power was back. I know the file could have been corrupted and I don't have a backup of the file. Could some one please help me out? Thanks in advance!

My wife has accused my computer of stealing her photos from her Pentax X-5 SD card ! She gave me the card to copy to my hard-drive which I duly did. Since then she cannot get her photos to play back on her camera.....she says that my computer has spirited away her pictures but I have shown her all her photos on the card via the computer.....and the SD card shows all of her photos on her printer`s screen ! But not on her camera ! At this point I must state that what I know about cameras can be...

Hello, Does the new XG-1 EVF show how the images will look, given the current exposure settings? My X-5 did not. It just gave a meter reading. A Live View is even more helpful, and both my other super zooms provide it. But I dunno. Maybe that's cheating? LOL Thanks, Dave

Hello, I have recently discovered a Minolta X-570, Motor Drive 1, Kalimar 171A flash, Quantaray 52mm lens, Minolta 50mm 1.7 lens, Minolta 135mm lens, and a Vivitar five star 500mm lens, all in a relative's attic. They said I could take it :-). Is the equipment I have decent for taking the occasional picture on the lake? Thank you for your time.

Has anyone used an IOGear Mediashair Wifi media hub for photo backup and can report on the transfer speeds? The Ravpower X5 seems not too bad as a device but is limited to 3MB/s and so would take 3 hours to backup a 32GB card. :-( I'm hoping the IOgear is a little faster than that.

Using a friend's Pentax X-5. Screen said 'card is locked'. How do you unlock it? Or where do I go to find that instruction?

Just wondering if people actually use PSP X5 or X6 for layers regularly and achieve quality results.I just upgraded my LR to LR5, and been watching tutorials for Photoshop. I'm not quite willing yet to commit to Photoshop as at this point I don't think I have a portfolio of images that demand it. But I would still like to start using layer masks for adjustments and cutting and pasting selections etc. So far it's not going so smooth in PSP X6 for me (learning the concept from scratch isn't...

I currently have PSP x2. Thinking of upgrading. Will I need to uninstall PSP x2 before installing the new version? Want to try and avoid any computer install issues. I'm using a Nikon D7000 and want to start shooting raw. --Cindy

Hi everyone. I would really appreciate some help. I recently bought a Pentax X5 camera after a frustrating experience with Panasonic TZ30. The problem is that zoom range during video shooting is only 7.2X and my feeling is that it is digital zoom, rather than optical zoom as image quality really deteriorates when you zoom. The zoom range starts at your initial zoom level and would go to 7.2X no matter what. I've looked at all the settings to see if I'm doing anything stupid but can't figure...

Today, I found my Sony DSC-H1 (2005) seems to have given up (hardly surprising).  Holding down the shutter button halfway to focus, it wouldn't focus anymore.  I doubt given its age, that it is worthwhile to have a camera store repair it.  It was only in the past couple years that I'd purchased the teleconverter lens for it ------- especially for bird photography which I really enjoy. Considering that it is good zoom that I need especially, and I'm not so sure I could handle the weight for a...
