I've been using this camera for almost 2 years now and think it's a highly-accomplished, go-anywhere zoom compact. The super-macro feature is particularly useful for the kind of shots I take and it has produced many high-quality A4 prints. Problems: The lens is slightly soft in the corners, but you expect that with a zoom compact of this price.

This camera is vonderfull. I bought 2 month ago and y think this is the camera for everyone who want to take picture anywhere. The REDEYE is not show even without redeye reduction. The picture quality is super. You can shout over 180 pictures with one pack of Rechargeble 2400 mah batteries. All: good choise for camera. Pentax is in 5 the best brand of camera world. Problems: Not yet. Only the slow "Start up shut" and shuting in low light (indoor) but here is ISO 400 to help you. So, nothing ...

I buy this as my second camera to be carried in the pocket. It is small and uses standard batteries. After some test I can see that the results are not so good as mi Dimage 7hi Less resolution (both have 5Mp. sensors) back light pictures are very bads if you have a tree on a bright sky the light eat the branches Problems: Too much automatic. It is dificult tio understand what the camera is doing to take a picture even reading the manual carefully

No Red Eyes. I just bought it and not one picture came out with Red eyes. I tried about 3 others and the only one that compared in quality was a kodak easyshare 10x optical that cost about $450. I got the pentax at costco for $300 but it included a case, 64 mb sd card, rechargable batteries and battery charger. so far its great. got some fuzzy pictures in the car but i think i had set it to manual by accident. i haven't read the instructions. the movie mode is awesome. great sound ...

I got this camera week ago from butterflyphotos.com for just 199$. It's a great value! Camera is small, nice, aluminimun body is very well made 1.8 " LCD is great. I already used it to record lecture in school using dictaphone function. It's great! Video capturing is ok. Using camera is very simple. As simple as canon I would say. Reccomend this camera to beginners and to everybody who needs cheap 5mpx with voice recording (which is very useful) Problems: The only one problem is image ...

Excellent construction. Lots of functions, defined modes, good manual controls (but not many). Good looking images, not too much compression, and medium-sized (though good quality) LCD -> bigger than most PXX from Sony. Useful the filters function. The flash is OK. The lens system is very clever, and so the camera is incredibly slim! Video quality is good enough, though competition offers more resolution. Problems: Doesn't appear in the Pentax site, don't know if it's gonna have any firmware ...
