This really is a truly fantastic camera for the price (you can pick one up on amazon for £99!) - truly pocketable and light without feeling flimsy. The metal body feels far more expensive than it is and lends to a real quality feel on this camera. The image quality is outsanding for such a tiny camera/lens, with the only problem being slight softness in the corners of the image. It's my second camera that I use for fast shooting. Very cheap, great construction, a lot of interesting functions and very easy of use. Very good pictures related to the price.

I have owned the Pentax Optio S30 for one day and was impressed with its simplicity, compact size and the range of menu functions. The menu allows auto or manual control over focussing and exposure. A large number of pre-set modes are available for many situations with digital filters to create interesting effects. The Optio S30 contains a lot of features for the price. Windows 98 users need a card reader to download images since Pentax has not produced a USB driver for this camera. But ...
