I bought this camera something over a year ago. Its self-portrait mode is really fun; every point'n'shoot camera should have a similar mode. The 3D mode is pure gimick; it was fun playing with it for a while but I never got it to work anywhere near as well as the example in the manual. Don't buy the camera for the 3D mode, but do have a little fun trying to use it if you already have the camera. I have have been living with my Pentax 230 now for around 12 months after moving over from an Olympus Z900 due to drop damage. The Pentax 230 has been a good camera with image quality average to good (not on par with the Olympus), the controls are easy to use and the up loading of pictures through Win XP is exellent. Small size and use AA batteries. Problems: I still cannot make the date to be printed o the photographs. I can simply make the date(or not to make) on the photographs when I used the Kodak 280. Any can assist?!
