Superior camera! I bought this little jewel about two months ago and have taken almost 150 pics. After reading the user's manual through once, I knew how to use this simple camera. The features are good -- it feels good in the hand, the flash works great, the pics are crisp and clear. I'm not an expert at photography, so the Pentax is just right for me. I even like the little reversible viewer for self portraits! It is very easy to download pics. I especially like the ease of driver ...

My first digital camera. The pictures I have taken are excellent on the PC screen and excellent printed on photo paper. Colors are brightfull, image is detailed. Printed on 10x15 paper, I cannot notice any difference with my pentax espio 160. The camera uses 2 AA batteries, so I use rechargeable AA ones; if the camera is out of battery, I can buy 2 AA ones anywhere I am. Problems: Not found any problem at the moment.

Compact, Light Weight, Impromtu camera that easily fits into any pocket. Great Color and Contrast Control right out of the box. Delivers amazingly crisp images for a 2.2 megapixel camera. Of course the proof is in the printing. Never, and I can't emphasize this enough, Never attempt to judge image quality using your Desktop PC. Even the sharpest images will look soft and fuzzy on a Monitor. This little camera offers plenty of control for a "Point & Shoot", and the 3D features makes it quite ...

After a month and about 250 shots I like this little camera. Compact, not to expensive comparing to many others in the 2MP range (AU$645) and loaded with features. Takes great pictures, which sometimes could be a bit sharper, but colors are vivid. Surprisingly pictures are good in low light situations and indoors (comparing it to my first 1MP digital difference is bloody amassing). I am no professional so this is an excellent little camera for my needs. Battery provided with the camera is ...

quite very gd. my first digicam. but i played with better. the image dun turn out as well as i hope them to be. ixus does a better job but has only 2x zoom. battery life is gd tho and can use AA, which many other camera don't. however, the size is a bit chunky. cld be smaller.. Problems: the AWB not very automatic. ha. need to fine tune manually most of the time to accomodate certain lightings. takes time to charge up the flash too and sluggish shot-to-shot time... "writing data".... aikez

I like this camera. You get very many features if you buy this compact digital camera. The Image Quality is all in all excellent, they could only sometimes be a bit sharper. But the colors on the photos are great an they look really natural. An interesting feature is to make 3D-Photos. It took little time until I had understood what to do but now I like this feature. I think it is a great camera you get for little money if you compare to other cameras. Problems: Photos could sometimes be ...

The 230 is a great little digicam for a 1st time user or as a second camera due to its portabilty. It's easy to operate, has more features than most entry level digicams and is low cost. Problems: The image quality is not among the best in the 2mp range. For example the Canon A40 has superior image quality(but is larger and more expensive). Also the flash overexposes very badly at close range. ie. less than about 3 feet.

This camera ROCKS....it has all the features I was looking for...3X optical zoom, full manual mode, burst mode, awesome lcd panel, tv output, movie mode (no sound), head turning look. Its glued to my hand! The 180 degree swivel LCD is a head turner for sure, albeit a bit gimmicky. I havent't used it yet, but I can see how it might be usefule for self portraits... I compared the canon A40 and fuji finepix 2600, and found this camera to just have the right "feel" to it, small, but not too ...
