Been searching for a replacement, as I lost the lens cap for my MX-1 on vacation :-x ...but I'm unable to find O-LC130 anywhere to purchase. (O-LC130 comes up when I searched the Pentax site for the MX-1 accessories) If I search for MX-1 lens cap replacement, the O-LC52 comes up. If anyone could clarify, please let me know! Really don't want to purchase the wrong lens cap. Thanks in advance.

Skip to paragraph 3 to avoid the backstory... I currently own two Sony cameras, a DSC-P150 that I got about 10 years ago and a DSC-H7 that I got about 6 years ago. The P150 has been a tank and is still going strong, in spite of a broken battery door and a couple of artifacts on the sensor. I haven't ever been truly happy with the H7. It never has given me the quality or the control that I desired. Sony is great, but I hesitate to get another. I just don't like their quirks. I do not feel like...

Hello everyone. I'm looking for a tripod for up to 130€ which could reach my eye level. As of now, I've only found the Slik Pro 700DX and the Triopo MX-1327 w/ NB-2S ball. Am I missing something? Also, how necessary is it to have a tripod set that reaches your eye level? BTW, this is my first tripod. I plan on using it for general situations, and more specifically astro/nightscape/light painting, using a K-5 II and 18-135 or possibly other lenses later (so at least 1,1 kg - which shouldn't be...

I am thinking of purchasing a Pentax MX-1 camera, mostly for a back-up and future replacement for my Canon S95.  Would anyone consider the Pentax camera an upgrade to the Canon?  What would be the benefits, if any, to the Pentax MX-1. Thanks!

I currently own a Canon S95, which seems to take pretty good pictures.  However, it is not great in low light, and I have taken a few thousand pics with it. I am looking to buy another smaller sized camera that I can use when my Canon dies, and also that is a little better in low light.  My main requirement for any camera is that it takes sharp pictures. The Pentax MX-1 sounds interesting, but does not seem to be too popular.  I only would like to spend around $300 or less. Any...

Is it true f/1.8 – f/2.5 has the faster lens speed than f/1.8 – f/5.6 because the former has the smaller minimum aperture f/2.5 than the latter f/5.6? If so, what compact zoom camera has the smallest minimum aperture (highest f-number) in the market? Are they Olympus XZ-2 and Pentax MX-1? Is there any other compact zoom camera has the minimum aperture smaller than f/2.5 in the market? I am not talking about the maximum but only minimum aperture (highest f-number) on the compact zoom camera....

Hello, I am in kind of dilemma whether to go for MX-1  or Fujifilm X-20?  I have found used X-20 at reasonable price but it is more expensive than MX-1. It will be mostly used for landscape, travel, family shots. Which handles more better in terms of Image Quality Handling Responsive Battery Life Overall Usage Any input will be highly appreciated. Thanks for the time. Kalpesh
