What I'm wondering specifically is: what is the Horizontal AOV of the Samyang/Rokinon 7.5mm Fisheye in both 4/3 and 16/9 formats? Is the difference very significant mathematically? Will it give 180º@16/9? TIA --Duarte Bruno

I need to take shots using off camera flash multiple times for single exposure, moving the flash position around to light from different angles. This would mean I need to wireless fire my shutter and off camera flash simultaneously. Can anyone confirm these things will work on GH2: RW-221 wireless shutter remote and Yongnuo RF-602?I own only one flash, Nissin 466. --Squaring the circles

Hi I am not a Pro but I was wondering whether somebody could answer this query please. If you are a professional Food or Product photographer and you get a contract to take photos for a magazine, newspaper, or a contract with a Product manufacturer, etc, obviously decent lenses are important, but how much does the choice of does the camera body matter? Will companies, advertisers, etc, only accept Photos from photographers who use Full Frame Professional cameras with big megapixels, or will...

Does GH2 support high speed flash sync? Does it depend on the camera itself at all? (I heard somewhere that it does not depend on the camera just on the flash, but I am not sure.) Is it also possible to put a 3rd party flash remote on the GH2 and use a remoted flash at high speed sync? Thank you!

Hi guys, I was wondering if I could get your help please. I have bought an Elinchrom RX One Strobe Softbox set, which comes with the Skyport trigger for the Strobes.  The trigger works fine on it's own, and when mounted on the GH2 hotshoe, it still works, probably because it is battery operated. However I cannot get the GH2 to recognize the Skyport trigger when pressing the Shutter button. When I press the Shutter there is no Flash from the Strobes at all. Would anyone know if I am doing...

I know that there's been many threads dealing with 3rd party battery brands; which are good and which are junk. There's no way that I'm going to spend $50-75 for another Panasonic brand battery for my GH2. I have three in fact, one Panasonic and two 3rd party. I don't like the fact that the 3rd party ones give no indication as to the power level though. I'd consider getting another (cheaper) 3rd part brand battery if any them have that chip that allows the camera to read the power level...?

Hi All, anyone know if there is a difference between the Panasonic DE-A79 and DE-A80 chargers? If yes, what? These are the ones for the GH2/G5/G6 camera batteries. (and if they are functionally the same ... why two different model numbers !?!) Cheers Ga.

I'm using a GH2 as a fixed unattended camera for getting the whole stage in local theater productions which generally are some variation on black box stages where the backdrop is mostly black and the actors are floodlit, although not very brightly. The lighting varies considerably during the evening with the background lighting and actor lighting changing, and of course the actors vary in number and move around on the stage. The result is a pretty wide variation in contrast between the...

I've had my GH2 for just a little while here and have some questions about it... and I welcome any additional advice that any of you experienced users might have about this camera (any kind of "best practices"). First off, I notice that in the viewfinder (or LCD) when I have it in the view mode that shows all of the info on there, that there's a a couple of bars that are showing audio levels. I don't really need to see this as I'm not even shooting video. I find it a bit distracting and...

I have two Panasonic G5 cameras, that have displayed awful image quality with different lenses (100-300 and 14-42pz, 14-45 even 20).  Even in good light, 160iso, low focal length.  What is wrong?  Could both my G5s be out of whack?  They are lightly used. I replaced a G3 and GH2 with these two G5s and wow, the image quality just isn't there.  :-(  I have had the G2, GF2, G3, GH2 and had no issues.  Something must be off? Have I somehow found the 'kill your image quality setting'?
