Hi Looking for the best quality for stills - I can always use the GH2 for video I have a GH2 and GF3 with 14mm and kit lens I have an old KM 5d, with minolta 50mm 1.4, KM 17 - 35 2.8 zoom and a nice sony flash. I have been slightly disappointed with the grain i can see from my micro-4/3 cameras compared to my 10 year old Konica minolta 5d. Do i get a a55 / a580 body and use my old lenses or go for the leica 25mm and stick with my panasonic bodies? I have been using the minolta lenses on the...

Hi guys, I was experimenting with my DSLR today and was taking a pic of a lit up room while standing in a dark hallway (hope that makes sense). Hi I have some Canon Rangefinder lenses (35mm f 1.8, 50mm f 1.8 and 135mm f 3.5) that used to belong to my grandfather. I really like the idea of using them again and was thinking of buying a Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH2 Micro 4/3 camera and an adapter to facilitate this. Does anyone have any experience with this combo? Ideally I'll be using this set up to film music videos and sessions, is that just wishful thinking?  Cheers!

I'm new to using SD cards to record video (Panasonic GH2). After months of successful shooting on multiple cards, I finally had the nightmare of all nightmares: a card failure.  Aside from the obvious precautions (keep card dry, keep out of sunlight, etc.) are there any other operational issues that may cause a card to become corrupt?I'm not sure if this caused it, but for my personal "home movie/vacation" usage, I typically use the camera to take BOTH stills and video. At the end of each day...

Hello,This may end up being a moderate epistle for assistance in choosing a camera system, so please bare with me.I have had some interest in photography for several years now. In 2003, I had purchased a Olympus C-5050 and used it extensively while living overseas, in Micronesia. I had purchased an underwater housing from Ikelite and fell in love underwater photography. After I returned to the States, I returned to college and then professional school, which took most of my time. Now that I...
