Hey guys,I currently have a Panasonic FZ72 (which I've only had since April) but I'm feeling a bit limited by it. I wouldn't want to be without it but I'd quite like something in addition to it - which leads me to the GF6.I've done a fair bit of reading up about it but I'm still pretty new to the world of lenses and aperture!I'd like to know whether you think it's a good step up. I've always been put off DSLRs by the size/weight/cost and I don't think I'd end up using one much so the GF6...

Hi, I have a GH1 body with these lenses: m43: Panny 14-140mm f/4-5.6, Panny 20mm f/1.7 FD: Elicar 35mm f/2.8, Canon 50mm f/1.8 Universal-to-FD: Soligor 90-210mm f/4 C-Mount: 24mm f/1.4. I'm thinking of picking up a smaller body to be used with the primes, especially the 20mm, so that I actually bring out the camera more often rather than anything else. I do not care about high ISO performance, the highest I ever go is ISO 400, usually ISO-100. Cost being an issue, I am thinking of picking up...

Hi all,  I am looking for advice - I am looking to buy a csc or small SLR. I have been very tempted by the Lumix fz200, but I just find that it is quite large for all the travelling I do, which made me consider the Lumix DMC-GF6, but I really like a viewfinder. I am willing to buy secondhand to keep a more expensive camera within my budget? Is there something in between these two that I have been missing? Would really appreciate advice!

Looking to get a M4/3 camera in the next few weeks.  These are the two I've been mainly looking at.  They seem pretty similar. I plan to mainly use it for travel w/ the Panasonic 14mm pancake lens (unless I can get the 20mm at a good price).  I may not even take the 14-42mm kit lens with me.  I'm going from taking a Nikon D7100 w/ me on my last trip to a M4/3.  I want compact and these are pretty compact.  Those are basically my use cases. Based on my research it looks like the E-PL5 is...

Focus peaking feels really a must for LCD screen manual focusing  Does Oly PL5 or Pana GF6 have focus peaking function? What is the full list of m43 cameras with focus peaking? Thanks.

Hello, I have just sold my Canon T2i, and I'm waiting for my Lumix GF6 with 14-42mm PZ lens kit to be delivered.  I am looking for the smallest possible bag that would fit this kit, a 45-175mm PZ, a 45mm f2.8 (if possible), one extra battery, wallet, passport, and most importantly an iPad mini in a Apple Smart Case.  I am especially looking for something that doesn't look like a camera bag, as I will carry this thing with me all the time. Would the F-5XA be able to fit these things (most...

I've just bought a Lumix GF6 and so far I'm pleased with the purchase. However, I've been totally unable to connect it to my MacBook over my wireless network. The manual is pretty poor on the subject so I wondered if anyone could point me to any online resources or tutorials that might help. Just to let you know how far I've managed to get: I've confirmed that my Mac Network settings and GF6 are configured for the same workgroup. I've shared a folder on the Mac. The GF6 sees my router OK. It...

Hello! This is my first post to the forums so please be gentle! I recently sold my Canon T2i with the idea of trying my hand with a M 4/3 camera. I was initially drawn to the small size of the cameras offered since I tended to leave my T2i at home instead of lugging it around. I would like a camera that is small enough to carry all of the time and have as many of the features as possible as my T2i. I shoot mostly family and vacation photos and also shoot some video. I shoot mostly JPEG but...
