Recently bought a fz150 to use primarily for video at church replacing my fz28 that I had been using. tried camcorders in this price range but was not getting the quality of video that I was getting with fz28. Had to adjust white balance and speed for the lighting conditions because the autoset was too dark. It appeared light enough when setting , but then darkened when starting to shoot video.Is there any way I can put these settings in as a preset so I don't have to duplicate them each time...

Hello guys,I am between the p510 and the lumix fz150 and the main reason for not going straight for the nikon is the number on negative comments about it not focusing fast or accurately enough. What do you have to say about that on your experience?

So I have had the FZ150 for a while and love the camera.I just purchased a Metz 36 AF-5 external flash that was compatible with the FZ150.My question is, what do I need to do in order to have the external flash fire while not in the hot shoe? I'd like it off to the side and in a position that will give better light. I tried a couple shots last night but the Metz did not fire. Is there any setting I need to look for?Thanks in advance,

I usually take shots in RAW+JPG and only use the JPG for previews to decide which files to work on in PhotoshopHowever since Windows 8 now supports RW2, I was finally able to view the images one after the other while flipping through photos in preview mode. I downloaded video and still pictures from a Panasonic FZ150 to my PC.  I can open the videos (AVCH format) but not the other files (still pictures? part of the videos?) that have .pmpd and .tmb extensions.  What are they and how do I open them?joliecolo
