I've had this camera for about 3 years now and it is very well built. No problems and it's life has included kid's handling it, beach time, high moisture/rain. OK picture quality for this type of camera. It's very small and fits well in a pocket, but don't think you can enlarge them more than say 4x5. Problems: Slow response. If you press the shutter, it doesn't take a picture for a few seconds (or at least until subject has left the scene and you get a picture of a blurry mess) Lens is ...

This camera served me well for 2-3 years with its great image quality, quality LCD and construction (its been dropped, rained on and in dusty situations also) it was easy to use also. I didn't care for the buttons to much and the camera could be slow in terms of recycle times and such. Even won some contests with it. Problems: Could be my fault since it saw some rough use but it died going into its third year.

I have had this camera for over a year now and have taken upwards of 5000 shots. It really is excellent. Construction is very solid. Image quality is good and I can take it everywhere because it is so small. I should point out it's my back up, get me out of trouble camera which is used alongside my main one. Must be one of the best point and shoot items out there. Problems: The menu could be a bit easier to navigate but now I'm just being picky !

I've had this camera for over a year before giving it to my wife. Since she is non-technical, I thought it would be ideal for her because it is so easy to use, -with reservations (see below). The stylus is perhaps the most solid and well built p/s camera on the market for less then $500.00, -and it can go anywhere, rain or shine. not only is it well built, but it's all metal body looks it, and it's perhaps one of the most stylish cameras as well. It is quick and has long battery life, ...

Takes excellent shots in good light, quality becomes slightly grainy in low light but that's to be expected. Outdoor shots and daytime shots have excellent colouring and crispness, and don't need any pohotoshopping before printing. Indoor shots can come out looking a little funny under automatic setting, but more often than not they are very well coloured and good under the flash also, and improve with tweaking of settings. Feels very solid in the hand, but isnt heavy, just well constructed ...

Problems: There is no memory to store settings such as date when the battery is removed. This means that you must redo all the settings every time after you change the battery, and that is pretty often. I find this to be a large problem, and the manufacturer says this is not a fault in the camera. Another problem is very slow operation of the "creative mode" selector. I think that is a software bug. However it's not possible to update the firmware of the camera yourself as it is with previous ...

Just to correct something in another review: "Most annoying is the fact that you are not able to play back the pictures you've taken without turning off the camera first (and thus retracting the lens)." You can review pictures you've taken with a push of one button - the "Quick View" button - without switching the camera off at all. Problems: None so far.

I've used this camera now for a year and am still very happy with it. It's small enough to make it convenient to carry around all the time and not too small for proper operation. During daylight the performance of the camera is excellent, although the shutter delay takes some getting used to. It's easy to miss the moment when the camera still needs to focus on the subject. I am really disappointed in the performance under low light conditions. The flash is too bright, basically blinding ...
