Exellent camera, especially for its time. Very good lens, no shutter lag. Annoyances when used now: startup time = 4 s. Write times to card very slow which can be limiting with a buffer of 5 frames. The E10 is quite a lot quicker than the newer E20 because the E20 has the sam processor with more pixels to handle: longer times needed for processing the larger amounts of data. Problems: After falling from about 1,5 m height on the pavement the camera stopped working.

Great camera, even though a little old now. I mostly miss that I can't use other lenses and the resolution isn't really big even though it's enough. Also miss that there are only few menu options and that the camera's got a really slow writing speed. But after some time, everyone will probably find out that he wants to upgrade to a newer camera (Canon EOS 60D in my case...). Problems: Non-changeable lenses, resolution.

A wonderfully well constructed camera, love the feel and look. Owned for 5 years now, 10.000 pics plus..Stellar picture quality, did a few billboards up to 20 by 9 FEET. low pixel count.. who cares, great clear sharp bright lens makes it all happen. Low light quality is very nice, but.. difficult to focus when dark. Never had exposure problems. This camera is absolutely quiet, It goes with me to noise sensitive shoots (music). For its money it simply cannot be beat. Slow focus, low burst ...

Another 2006 perspective of this old "war horse" dSLR, Oly's E-10. For the bargain basement price a mint condition E-10 and Oly's lenses and other E-10 specific accessories are available for it, the E-10 is absolutely unequaled for studio and still photos! I find the E-10 to be superb for studio/product photos where its slower read/write times aren't critical. By the time I've finished re-arranging the products I'm photographing, my E-10 is always ready for another round of 4 photos. It's ...

Reviewed from a 2006 perspective ... Today this camera can be purchased for nothing, i got a demo model with all accersories for $200 USD. Today this camera is an excellent buy. The build quality is second to non, maybe even better then my 20D. This camera has meny fetures that make it a joy to use, through the lens viewing, no mirror so its very quiet, excellent fast lens, great focus speend and accuracy, excellent manual controls. The image quality is great for 8x10 or maybe even ...

This was the top camera of the Olympus at the time it appeared, and you can really feel it. It's a very responsive camera, much better than most of today's sub-1000$ dSLRs. It's very robust (although a bit heavy), it has excellent optics, very good image quality, the TTL is much better than any LCD, it's very silent (no mirror mechanism). And it has live preview, an unique feature even in today's dSLRs. The image quality is impeccable, it has a very natural color reproduction And it can be ...

Olympus E-10. Wow, what a camera! I've owned a total of 5 other digital cameras over the years (HPC30,Nikon Coolpix700,Coolpix800, Canon A60, Fuji S602Z ). I still use the Canon A60 for 'point & shoot', and the Fuji S602Z, but was never really happy with the S602Z. It's EVF is useless in 'low-light' conditions, and I messed up one too many shots because of that. The 'Fuji-Color' (over saturated colors, and orange-reds) was not really to my liking either. TheS602Z pictures look pretty good, but ...
