Don't buy this if you want a robust camera. I bought this camera for my wife. I am waiting to send it back for repair, but I need to pluck up courage to do that due to the poor experience I've had with Oly repair. Problems: The front cover has to be held open with your finger as the slightest amount of closure turns off the camera.

This is great camera for the size and money. I also own the C-8080 and many times, I , nor can others tell which pictures came from the C-60 vs. the 8080. I usually take both cameras and shoot the same subject with both. If I can only take one camera, I usally take the C-60 because it fits in my pocket and I can be discreet. This camera is not the best camera in low light situations, but if you use the flash at close range, pictures are acceptable. Battery life can suffer if you do a ...

I have owned this camera for a year. It has consistently given me very good images although image noise is understandably higher than in my DSLR camera which has a bigger CCD. This is only apparent in low-light photograpy. Problems: My main peeve is that if I touch the sliding cover, the camera shuts down. The menu system can be overwhelming when the camera is used in other modes than AUTO.

This is one of the best digital cameras I've used, especially for such a small size. I even bought a new 8MP camera, and ended up selling it to keep this one, because the C-60 took a better picture, especially in low light. The camera has an AUTO mode that is OK…if you have to hand the camera to someone else to take a picture of you. But the Program Auto corrects the white balance problems of the “auto” mode so well that you’ll begin to wonder why they even have “auto” as an option. It’s a ...

Good except for defect and warranty non-service I bought this camera because it's light enough for travel and still has a good amount of manual control. I can echo most of what others have written. Image quality is pretty good, although there is some noise and chromatic aberration. I would be satisfied with it, if it weren't for the defect. Problems: On some (but not all) brightly sunlit scenes with blue sky I would get horizontal lines across the top. Most are below printer resolution, ...

Good camera for external photos. Good flash. Poor low light photos. Some purple fringings. Slow (when the memory is almost full the camera gets ssssllllloooowwww). The screen gets ruined too easily.

I found it very good for its price and dimensions. Small and light enough for a shirt pocket, it has a lot of settings, a very good lens, fast AF. The lens is perhaps the best i've seen in a compact camera, sharp definition even to max telelens position, no vignetting, moderate pincushion distortion at widelens. Very good metal finishing. Under a year of use I can confirm my first opinion. Ok, it's also robust, I dropped it twice without any problems Problems: monitor is hard to see in ...
