Purchased from "good" second hand for about 40 US$, together with both SM and CF flash card, UV filter and 1,45x teleconverter. From pure nostalgia and as a piece of the digital photo history... The construction is 8 years old currently and as you know, this is (in the branche) as from ancient era :-) So, my purchased copy is about 6 years old and I am the third and very happy owner. All on this copy is technically OK, all it really works, really all - well done Olympus! And picture format is ...

Bought this camera secondhand in 2002. Good camera, good image quality despite noise. Easy to use camera and the 2.5 mp images looked great on my screen. Still have it... Problems: The CF bay died on me in 2004.

This camera is very simple to use and takes incredible pictures. I also have a Cannon Rebel 2000 the pictures from both when digitized. Well the Olympus wins no contest. Problems: I have had no problems.

I was hoping to find other user reviews of this camera, but I couldnt read any except post my own. I have had it for a few months now. I got a good deal on it as a refurb for about $300. At that price I guess I cant complain much, BUT, I do have a few. First a list of the things I love and would not find on most other Digitals. The speed is great for day time shooting. The 3x zoom is fine. The manual control of the speed is good, but could have been able to do longer than 8 seconds. The ...

Amazing Camera. It's a 2.74mp camera, but guess what? So is the Nikon D1 from that same time-period. Difference? Several THOUSAND dollars! At the time, the Nikon ran up to $5000, and I bought my C2500L for about $700, including extra batteries, charger AND Floppy Disk smartcard adaptor. This camera takes great pics, and I've enlarged some to 17x14 with really acceptable results. Personally, I think the C2500L's real strength lays in Macro Photography. It can focus as close as an INCH. ...

Have had C2500L for 1 1/2 yrs. Great camera. Compaired with Nikon Coolpix 5000 for color and contrast compairson. The Olympus had more realistic color and contrast was as good as or better than Nikon. Other than the pixel capability the Olympus was far ahead. Problems: None

This camera once retailed over $1000, I bought mine in the UK for £350 about $500, including a card reader for usb port. I carried out alot of research before I bought this camera and have not been dissappointed. Problems: None, but I would have liked more f stops and a proper ...

It had the best resolution when I bought it. I still have it and use it with the tele extension, using it for technical illustrations, flowers and birds, and glamour photography. With the latter I use bounce flash via the FL-40 clip-on flash. Sandra controlled those shoots, and I was ready when she was, most of the time. 24th October 2003. Have passed on the camera to a friend of Sandra's for NZ$100.-- in working condition. Its job has been taken over by the C750UZ. Problems: Since with flash ...
