I bought this camera as a backup to my D3s, and I have not been disappointed. I like the fact is has a small, pop-up flash built in, and with the extra grip, makes a great second sports camera. I bought mine used in Sept. of 2012, with only 1,200 shutter actuations. I don't need the huge files of a D800, so the D700 is the perfect second camera for me.

I was sending the cameras to Nikon, and nothing was changed. When outside, during the day, I have no problem with focusing. I have experience with Nikon and Canon cameras. And I ...
