Hello all, I'm thinking about getting a second hand D600. After the problems they had, they turned up in Japan pretty cheap. I think a lot of them got sent back to the dealer to get fixed, but then the dealer couldn't sell them as new again, and they have the whiff of faulty on them, so a second hand refurbished D600 (at a reputable retailer which usually sells new goods, which is why I think they are returned units) goes for about $1000 over here (100,000yen,) which is about the same as a...
Hi Folks Since my D700 has just failed for the second time in a year! (same problem TWICE! and without a sufficient explanation from the Nikon Repair Team as to the cause! - PLEASE speak to your customers NIKON and not just through some twit in a call centre!) I might have to consider a replacement. Many of the reviews state that the D750 might be an upgrade from a D700. But I'd like the opinion of some of you who have already taken this step....so a few Questions: I don't mind the 'down...
Just have a question if there is anyone out there with a new D750 that is so kind to show me a picture of lets say dark area (e.g. night sky) with a small light source somewhere in the frame (stars with telelens). You have to shoot at ISO 3200 or higher (as I did in example photo). Why I'm asking this? Well, my D700 sensor seems to give this blooming artifacts when there is a bright light source in the frame when taking pictures of stars (astrophotography) and it is impossible to clone those...
Hi all, which camera would you choose between the following and why?: Canon EOS D100 Canon EOS D700 Nikon D3300 Nikon D5300 Sony a58 Pentax KS-1 I am new to the photography world, but I wish to start and learn something about it. For that reason, I wish to buy a good entry level camera that can be upgraded in the future, in order to reach a very high standard of quality. If you have any other camera suggestion, please feel free to write your suggestion here and also try briefly to explain me...
This one ( http://www.dofmaster.com/dofjs.html ) seems to be right on target, but observed that neither D6xx nor D750 is listed as option for it's calculator.Perhaps the calculator's "D800, D800E, D700" option is close enough to be accurate? Is there a different online resource even better than this one? I've been shooting middle school and high school football long enough to be generally familiar with the behavior of my lenses, but was just curious to compliment my practical experience with a...
I have Unleashed Dx200 paired to Holux GPS. I am using it successfully since I bought it. . Now I want to pair it with new GPS. PL tell ; 1. Will I have to unpair it (UNleashed)from paired Holux GPS , before pairing with new one? 2. or it can be paired with 2 GPS at a time? 3. If to unpair, then how to unpair from the paired Holux GPS. Pl note I have tried the whole procedure written in its manual to pair but no success....
Hi Guys, I want to focus with both the shutter release button and the AE-L/AF-L buttons, just like I do with the D700. It seems like with the D750, I can only select one, or the other. Can anyone tell me the menu settings that would allow me to do this? I just got back from Japan, where I picked up a D750 for the equivalent of about USD1850. It was a bit of an impulse buy. The manual it came with is only in Japanese, so no help there. --http://patricklovephotography.com/blog/
I'm having a little trouble with my Nikon Pocket Wizard firing system. I use a D700, SB 900 flash, Pocket Wizard Mini TT1 and Flex TT5 set up system. When i use my Mini TT1 on the camera with my secondary Nikon flash off camera on a Flex TT5 it works great. Problem is when I add my SB900 to the hot shoe of the mini TT1 all of a sudden the off camera flash on the TT5 stops firing and only the one on the mini TT1 hotshoe fires. I know they should BOTH be firing as this is how this system was...
