Opinion: I've had this camera for over 1 1/2 years. I use Nikon DSLR as well as several other bridge cameras by Panasonic and Fujifilm. I got it for a good price as Nikon was introducing P100 to replace this model.
I wish I hadn't bought this one. Outside on a sunny day, pictures come out ok, but its performance indoors is dismal. On default program setting, the pictures are blurry and ISO setting above 400 is noisy and useless. You have to coax performance from this thing using manual settings. Overall, disappointing effort from Nikon.

Build quality is good and is surprisingly heavy compared to other bridge cameras. Articulating screen is useful, although its resolution could be better. Video is mediocre and no HD.
