Found the problem with sensor. After some fighting w/Leica I got the answer that sensor is not a part of Leica production and they can repair without warranty on quality. Problems: At night shots, problems comes..

After using 2 month go back for Canon. This is joke, not for real world. Film cameras was much better. When compare images with 5D don't understand why it cost $7000 more. Problems: poor in hi-ISO, slow, bad sensor, heavy, expensive

Had the M9 for 3 weeks. Construction and image quality is superb! Leica lenses really shine with this sensor. This is the easiest, basic camera to use. Aim,frame, focus and shoot!. No crazy menus, no bells and whistles, just the basics. You really learn photography with this camera. Even fine Jpegs look great! Problems: A little high priced, but if you have Leica M lenses, this camera is a no brainer!

The camera is excellent! Unfortunately it is very expensive compared to other makes and models that offer more features for less. However, Range finder Photography is something else and once you get the hang of it, it becomes addictive. The settings and features are easy to use, but focusing takes some getting used to if you come from using and SLR. Do not take pictures and use the camera screen to evaluate quality as the camera display does not nearly give justice to the image. View images ...

Una fotocamera di ottima qualità, affidabile, maneggevole, robusta anche se manuale. Ottima per chi vuole avere il top per la qualità e l'affidabilità. Obiettivi eccezionali in qualità trovabili d'occasione a prezzi bassi. Servizio dopo-vendita ottimo. Rotta la scheda, cambiata in 3 giorni: eccezionale. http://www.flickr.com/photos/mbeo52 Problems: Troppo cara. Scrittura e lettura lenti sulla carta SD. Telemetro, sistema non paragonabile al DSRL

I am a long time Leica M user, so this camera holds no secrets. After two years with the M8 (which I will not sell but fondly keep as backup, inspite of the improvements the M9 offers) I must say the M9 is a big step-up. Colors are near perfect, the files require very little to no post- processing and the menu's are an improvement. Even the battery life seems to be better.

Congratulations Leica on another excellent camera. I now have 4 Leicas.....!!! The images are superb, and the improvement to ISO...wonderful. I just need to make some careful buying decisions on ASPH lenses now that the crop is 1.00 Problems: I would prefer the Sapphire LCD and a titanium body finish.......maybe on a 9.2 ?
