Ok the good, the image quality is as good as any camera that was non dsl I ever tried : a complete and total surprise (good) . The colors unlike other Kodaks I tried were right on target and beautiful. Was it the 10 x schneider lens , what made this so good? Why can't Kodak just make the same camera and faster processing? Compromises though read the negatives I would pay 75 for this in today world of cameras. I wouldn't dare buy anything less then this. Problems: The bad, slow indoors ...

I acquired this digicam at an inventory clearance sale for less than half of the price proposed at the time of its introduction. Given my earlier experience with cameras of this type, I immediately got the Z650 operational. Put in the battery and took a series of shots without even having opened the user’s manual; just that simple it was. The Z650 turned out to be an ideal bridge camera, this owing to its size, weight, zoom, and picture quality. Was very glad I bought it. Features I most ...

This was a very impressive camera - original battery lasted through 100+ photos - would have probably taken several more. Felt like a very sound camera, images were sharp, fun camera to use. This camera was replaced by a Z612 (my option) - however, I would rate this camera above the Z612 for image quality and enjoyability in use. The flash popping up when the camera turns on I find is actually much nicer than having the flash on the Z612 suddenly popping up as you start to take a picture. ...

My DC 200 no longer met the task. I had dropped it one too many times. A new camera was needed. Borrowed my daughter’s $600 CoolPix and what a disaster. Learned fast that no view finder and a lot of bells and whistles were not something good. I just wanted to take photographs and not get a PhD in cameraology. Hit the internet and soon decided that an ultra zoom camera would fit the bill; but which one? After a lot of reading the Kodak Z650 seemed to fit the bill. The only thing that ...

This is my 4th camera and 1st Kodak, i love the zoom part of it especially for the moon at night. There are alot of neat things you can capture with this camera and it's settings, its just a matter of know how. Ask around if you are a beginner like me, don't shoot this camera down (no pun intended) i like it and have recommened it. Problems: the batteries don't last long at all, even without using the LCD screen, i wish this was better thought of, but i use the camera alot and have to expect ...

I liked that camera a lot cause it was cheap and high quality. Kind of larged sized but that 10x zoom made me happy. Not having image stabilation was a problem. At night (without flash) i couldn't actualy take a picture. More or less its a value for price!!! If you are an amateur photographer and want high zoom and great quality pics this camera is for u!!! Problems: The flash is opened everytime you switch on camera. Its really annoying!!!

I have had and used several cameras, my last was a Kodak DX6340, which I liked. The Z650 is easy to use, image quality is Good and the ZOOM 10X is great for getting the snapshots even when you are not that close. Problems: None so far.

My parents just bought this camera. Dad had asked me which one he should buy for mom for her birthday this year. I suggested the Sony DSC-H2, I currently use the DSC-H1 and have never seen a better camera. So, I did advise them to stay with sony as I have already obtained several memory sticks and in a pinch we could share the media, should the need arise. Well, they started looking at the Kodak Z650 and the Kodak Z740. I had looked at the Z650 when I was in the market for the camera ...
