My new Fuji Xe2 should arrive today. Before ordering, I didn't realize there was an issue with the X-Trans sensor and LightRoom. This presents a potentially serious problem for my workflow. I don't want to use additional RAW converters in my workflow if I can avoid it. I have read several attempts to resolve this demosiac issue and it seems that it rears its ugly head only in certain situations, namely when converting fine detail such as far away leaves or grass. So my question is to LR users...

Last week bought an XE2, then Monday, got very lucky and was able to snap up a 2nd body used (to play with my old contax G lenses and a metabones adapter). Am thrilled so far, but still exploring and testing. Using it w radio triggers on a flash bracket w my favorite old norman 200 and 400Bs. Main difficulty is this scenario: I know my normans will give me perfect light for the exposure as long as I retain control of the ISO, the shutter and the aperture (old school YES!). SO, I set all as...

I have just received an X-T1 I bought from digitalrev.com Problem is that the seal of the camera bag was broken, the battery was inside the camera, and the battery was half charged. When I bought my xe2 from a more reputable seller, it's battery (same as in X-T1) was completely empty battery. They say they have to insert the battery somewhere because of airline regulations, but that is not true. battery in its original packing is fine by airlines from what I understand. even if it were, they...

Hey everyone, quick question. I just picked up a second hand Fuji XE2 today. I'm wondering if the slight clicky/scrappy noise the aperture blades make when focusing is normal. It's the same noise it makes when the camera is turned on. When the camera is turned on the aperture blades stop almost all the way down then adjust according to what I have it set at. While doing so there is a slight noise the blades make.  I have the current operating system on both came and lens and it seems to do it...

Hello. I'm writing here hopefully to get the right answers that I need. Although I love Foveon image quality I think my Sigma SD14 is a bit outdated and slow, so I'm looking for something new. I'm planning to buy Fujifilm X-E2 camera body. I have few M42 lenses, so that would not be the problem. I also have few good Sigma lenses My problem is next. There is Sigma SA to Fujifilm X mount...

I have just been told by my usual supplier that Fuji has discontinued the X-E2 (in Australia). I also notice it has dropped off another online supplier's website. Has anybody else heard this, hopefully it is wrong?

I have never used a mirrorless camera. The specks on the x-e2 indicate 3 manual focus aids. Can these be used looking through the eye level viewfinder or do you have to use the led screen?  If you have to use only the screen wouldn't it be useless in bright sunlight?

This is probably a stupid question with an obvious answer, but it's driving me crazy. On my X-E2 and now my X-T1, I have apparently dialed in a setting that causes the digital rangefinder to be greyed out in the manual focus aid menu. I cannot for the life of me figure out where the conflict is. Anyone know? Thanks! --depscribesome pictures: http://www.ipernity.com/doc/depscribe/album

My question is related to the EVF/LCD settings on the XE2 when in shooting mode vs playback mode. I also have the XT1 for several months now, and with it I am able to select different display options for shooting and playback. For example:Shooting- EVF only with eye sensor (LCD always off in shooting mode, EVF activates with eye sensor.Playback- Eye sensor (photos displayed on LCD unless EVF is activated with eye sensor). There does not appear to be a way to have different display options as...

So the story is this: I shoot Canon 5D mark III mostly with primes. My travel lens usually is the 24-105L. This kit is kinda heavy so I would like to buy a smaller camera for travel. I was decided on the Sony A6000 then switched my mind to Fuji. Main question is: how does the Fuji X-E2 handle with the kit lens 18-55mm. Is this lens too heavy for the rather small grip this camera has? I know you can always add grips and other accessories. The main idea is to keep the kit as light as possible...
