I've been carrying the d5300 around like a pocket camera to work and back recently as I want to take more photos, street and general. But I am of course not using my camera bag.... a couple of days has seen me drop it, then the rucksack it was in on another day hit a lamp post. Luckily enough no harm done but lesson learned - a D5300 is not a compact pocket camera. Doh. :) So let me set a few specifics. Minimum 12MP, prefer a VF of some sort, be it OVF OR EVF, about a 24mm - 100mm zoom and...
Hi all, I would appreciate any help regarding this matter - im looking to buy a new digital camera in price up to 550$. Expectations:- i would like to avoid manual adjustment of focus, f.length, iso, etc., and have a decent camera to setup once - and then shoot (for everyday situations).- image quality in jpeg- occasional macro shots- small enough to be carried around without stretching the muscles I have already decided that it will be one of Fuji X- models, and since i have seen a few...
Hi my friend has a fujifilm xq1, very nice camera but, when you switch it off then switch it back on again it does not remember the compression setting "fine" and it doesn't remember the file size "L 3.2". Any ideas, it won't even remember them if I save it in custom setting ?? thanks in advance lw
Hi, It's been a while that I posted my first thread about getting my first dslr-like camera. I bought my Nex-6, and I'm quite happy with it. My only concern is that sometimes the camera doesn't seem to work as intended... I don't know if it's normal or it's an issue, but I began to think that my copy has a sensor problem (I bought 2nd hand from ebay). Sometimes when I half press the shutter the image in the viewfinder and on lcd, for a fraction of a second seems well balanced and lit, then...
I am looking to buy a new camera primarily for my wife and also for my occasional use My hands shake a lot and image stabilization is a big criteria for me. Also I would love to have manual zoom options which I can play around with. outdoors and zoom would be a plus but I am not sure if I can carry around huge lens for that purpose. I have a canon s3 IS and have rarely used it despite the fact that it takes good pictures and videos. My wife (primary user of the camera) could be taking lots of...
Hello, I am using my new Fujifilm XQ-1 and have found one annoying thing: when previewing pictures taken, they look darker than while shooting. I mean, when I focus, the displayed picture is ok, when I take a shoot and there is 1 sec. preview - it is unchanged. However when I press triangle button to preview previous pictures, they look darker than while shooting. After downloading to my PC, they seem to be OK. Why is it so? Thanks
