I just purchased an Asus entry level laptop on Black Friday special that has pretty anemic specifications ... but the price was right. Windows 8.1 32-bit 2 gb memory 32 gb internal SSD (slow interface) 16 gb micro-sd card as D:\ drive Model number X205TA with 11.6" screen I want to be able to take it on "road trips" and hopefully be able to do very rudimentary post-processing with it. I hope to be able to download .cr2 files from my Canon DSLR, run DngConverter to get .dng's, and then...

I have the X20 for 3 months. In the A and S modus, the camera produces overexposed pictures. Especially during daylight. I don't understand why. Do I do something wrong? Is there a bug in the software (v. 1.02)?I have sent an email to the Dutch Fuji helpdesk, but they don't even bother to give a response. Can anyone help me with this?Example, in the A-modus (with Iso on Auto and after I gave the camera a reset) I took 5 pictures. For every picture I choose a different aperture. The picture...

Is there a concensus the the X30 viewfinder is an improvement over the X20 viewfinder? Granted the 100% coverage, information displays rightside up when camera is rotated 90 degrees, no more lens barrel obstruction in the viewfinder, no more parallex error or tunnel view,  but what about: Data information readability, i.e., shutter speed, f/stop, ISO, mode, etc? The X30 brochure and review pictures of the EVF indicates a very nice large viewfinder but the shutter speed, f/stop and other...

I like x20 a lot. Very competitive raw quality, almost pocket sized camera with advanced function buttons easy to handle. Except tiltable screen of x30 and better EVF are missing. But from photos x30 looks significantly more deeper - is this a price of tiltable screen? Is there any photos with both Fuji cameras compared side by side from all angles?

Does Nikon P7800 supports  HDR (exposure) bracketing in raw format? If yes, what is the EV step? Yesterday when walking I missed the picture of 2 small lizards because there was no macro capabilities on my Lumix GM1 camera lens. Fuji x20 came to my mind which I sold some time ago - actually a very capable camera. With raw HDR and Macro, missing only variable angle screen - that is why Nikon P7800 might be better choice.

hello all after having my x20 for a few weeks and shooting raw plus jpeg i am a little confused as to what the best settings for picture would be. I need the jpegs for quick upload and have NR-2 shadows -0 highlights-0 and Sharpness +2 DR is on suto as i dont understand it. Any advise would be great. I shoot A mode or P all the time with iso on auto 100-800 or sometime i go iso manuel so i can choose. I have read about using suto iso with sudo DR for the best shoots but i need someone to just...

Hello This is my first trip with a camera that has interchangeable lenses. I used a X-20 before which has automatic features, the X-E2 doesn't, other then putting it to priority aperture & shutter. Question 1: I have no real travel experience with a camera like this. Should I use it in full priority, or one of them, I'm afraid to miss opportunities if I go full manual. Manuel focus or auto? I'll be with a group tour. Question 2:Which lenses would you bring to Turkey or Morocco for 16...
