Hello Folks, My problem is taking photos at rock concerts. Last night I was in prime position in the front row and in great position to take photos.  I selected the automatic "night mode" from F900EXR and used the excellent zoom, but all I got were blurry photos.  Only one reasonable shot out of say 30 pictures. I am no photography specialist.  I am always use 'automatic' settings. I am disappointed at the poor blurry photos. There is a setting called 'sport' mode.  Would this be a better...

Is there an updated version of this camera (Fujifilm FinePix F900EXR)? It looks like this camera is close to 2 years old. (Thread updated by a MOD to include camera details)

As far as I can tell from the manual, the F900EXR can only upload wireless to a smartphone or tablet. That is virtually useless to me, because I do not have an image editor on my phone or tablet. Is there any Windows application that accepts WiFi transfer from FinePix cameras? "Pictures can also be uploaded to devices running the Fujifilm Photo Receiver app" but this is also a smartphone and tablet thing. It seems to be a less involved version of the Fujifilm Camera Application. I could set...

My used (but in good condition) F900EXR just arrived. I do not understand what the manual says about continuous mode and have 3 questions. The TOP n feature can take 3 fps in L. That probably means Low speed, not Large size, based on Appendix page 126. One weird thing is that it can take 11 continuous frames at 3 fps, but only 5 frames at 6 fps and 11 fps. However at SH (super high) it can take 12 (!) frames at 16 fps. That makes no sense. It can't just be that SH is limited to M and S size....

Hi, I have a few questions about the f900 before i pull the trigger on one:) hope someone can help, thanks! 1. can you save raw when shooting in EXR mode? if yes, then: 2. how does shooting in EXR modes ( for example dynamic range priority) affect raw files. Are the raw files also smaller in resolution but with increased DR or less noise? 3. are the raw files generally compatible with most raw sofrtare like lightroom, rawtherapee?

I need another battery as the Fuji NP-50A will no longer accept charge so can anyone recommend a good alternative or must I buy a genuine Fuji replacement and hope it lasts longer than the original? Thank you.

Not familiar with it and have no instructions so can I ask is it normal for the charger light to flash continually while the battery is in the charger or does that indicate a problem? Thank you.

Hi everyone, I prefer  to Lumix TZ40 because a lot of review say this is the best camera to date and the price just enough for my budget. But the most important thing IF we compare to [Canon SX280 HS/Lumix L7/Galaxy camera GC100/Fujifilm F900EXR/Sony HX50V/TZ40] - which the camera is best on low light & night situation for video and picture - What about the performance when snap fast moving object like trains, f1, (blurr or static image) - How long battery life when we recording a video with...

I'm planning to buy one last EXR camera, on the assumption that Fujifilm is going to discontinue the sensor. I would like an X10 with bigger LCD and without viewfinder, but it obviously is not going to happen. XF1 lens failure stories scare me. The F900EXR seems the obvious choice, but it does not have GPS, which is more important to me than ultra-fast autofocus. I have three SD card readers, so wireless is not critical (yet). So here's my question: If you have an F770EXR, does the GPS work...

Hi, I've just gotten an F850 to replace a Lumix zs20.  I've had Fuji compact cameras before and love the warmer, more natural colors and their previous stellar ability to capture shots in low light.  They seemed to have strayed from that focus but I'm hoping that they're back on track here.    So far, I'm enjoying this camera on still subjects in all kinds of lighting.  Chasing kids and pets, however, not so much.  The zoom feel sluggish compared to the Lumix, and the video takes longer to...
